For Applied System Administrators Updating Your Applied Account, Assigning Chubb Codes, Configuring Users, Activating New Users To start using Transformation Station to conduct Chubb policy inquiries directly from your Applied TAM agency management system, your Applied System Administrator must: 1. Update your Applied account to receive the real-time policy inquiry product. 2. Assign company agency codes for Chubb. Applied System Administrators also can set up the account of each Transformation Station user. However, as long as you have the latest patch for your Applied system, this is optional. Users will be able prompted to complete this step the first time they initiate Chubb's real-time policy inquiry via Transformation Station. Updating Your Applied Account To receive the Transformation Station real-time policy inquiry product for Chubb, your System Administrator will need to update your Applied account via the Real-Time Interface. 1. Access the customer view in your Applied system 2. Click the butterfly icon. (You also can select "Real- Time Interface" from the Options menu. TAM 6.3 users must use the Options menu.)
3. Select "Account Update Wizard" from the "File" menu. 4. Follow the prompts to update your system. IMPORTANT: Make sure you apply all of Chubb's three-digit company codes to the real-time policy inquiry product. To do this: 1. Select Chubb's real-time policy inquiry product. 2. Click "Find Code." 3. Assign each Chubb code from the list that appears.
Assigning Company Agency Codes for Chubb To use Transformation Station with Chubb, your Applied System Administrator needs to assign a "Company Agency Code" for Chubb. This code defines different branches that exist within each of three-digit Chubb company code stored in Applied. 4. Select a branch from the Agency/Branch Information window. 5. Enter a Company Agency Code for Chubb in the "Code" field. Note: Be sure to enter a code for each listing in the Agency/Branch Information window (even if there is only one). Transformation Station will not operate correctly if this code is left blank. Note: We recommend you use your Chubb producer code. However, any placeholder can be used. 6. Select "Update" when finished. 1. Access the Company view in your Applied system. 2. Locate and highlight Chubb on the list that appears. Note: If Chubb appears multiple times, you can enter each "Company #" in the "Enter Code" field. 3. Click the Options button and select Agency Codes from the menu that appears
Configuring Users for Transformation Station (OPTIONAL) When conducting a policy inquiry with Chubb, Transformation Station uses @chubb login information behind the scenes to verify that the individual has access to the secure Chubb information they have requested. Agency System Administrators can set up the accounts for each user of Transformation Station by entering their @chubb login information into Applied. As long as you have the latest patch for your TAM system, this step is optional. Users will be able prompted to enter this information the first time they initiate Chubb's real-time policy inquiry via Transformation Station. However, if it benefits your agency to handle this step through the agency administrator, here's how it is done: 1. Go to the Customer view in your Applied system 2. Select a customer 3. Click the butterfly icon. (You also can select "Real- Time Interface" from the Options menu. TAM 6.3 users must use the Options menu.) 4. Select "Real-Time Configuration Utility " from the File menu
5. Select the "Products" tab within the Real-Time Configuration Utility 6. Select the "Chubb View" folder, then open the "Commands" folder, and highlight VPOLICY. This is the real-time policy inquiry feature. 7. Click the "Configure Users" button 8. Users activated for real-time services will appear. Highlight the users you would like to grant access to Chubb real-time policy inquiry. 9. Select "Add->" 10. Enter the user's @chubb userid and password 11. Click "OK" This will successfully configure the user for real-time policy inquiry with Chubb. Repeat this process for all users who need to use this service.
When Adding New Applied Users When you download the Transformation Station real-time policy inquiry product, all users of your Applied system will automatically be activated for this real-time service. However, if you add new users after the initial download of the product, you will need to activate them before they can use Transformation Station. Here's how: 1. Go to the Customer view in your Applied system. 2. Select a customer. 4. Select "Real-Time Configuration Utility " from the File menu. 3. Click the butterfly icon. (You also can select "Real- Time Interface" from the Options menu. TAM 6.3 users must use the Options menu.) 5. Go to the "Users" tab in the Real-Time Configuration Utility. Note: This will bring up a list of all of your agency management system users and show you which are currently activated for Real- Time services. 6. To activate a user, select them and click "Update." The "Active" column should then be populated with "Yes."
