1 SharePoint Wiki Redirect Installation Instruction System Requirements: Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services v3 or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server License management: To upgrade from a trial license, click the manage Wiki Redirect license link on Wiki Redirect Settings page. On the License Management page, click the get license link to purchase a license and retrieve a license code. You will be prompted to send an to sales@sharepointboost.com containing the Site Collection ID or Farm ID, depending on the type of license you want to purchase. After we receive your , we will send you a license code. Copy and paste this license code into the text box on the license validation form. Once you have copied and pasted the license code in the box, click OK to validate your license.

2 Once you receive notification that your license has been successfully validated, you can use the Wiki Redirect feature. Installation: Download the SharePoint Wiki Redirect setup file at and save the file to a folder. Next, open the folder and run "setup.exe". Note: You must be the SharePoint Farm Administrator; start Windows SharePoint Services Administration and Windows SharePoint Services Timer in services management prior to installation.

3 Run the setup file. You may have to wait for a few seconds for the system check to complete. Then click next. After you have read and accepted the terms in the License Agreement, click next to continue.

4 Please select one or more web applications as your deployment targets, then click Next". Installation may take several minutes; you can cancel installation at any time by hitting the abort button.

5 Once the process has finished, click next" for more deployment details. Following installation, you will receive a success message containing target installation details. Click close to finish.

6 Product Activation and Use: In the Site Settings menu, click Modify All Site Settings to open the site settings page. Then click on Site collection features. In the Site collection features list, click the "activate" button next to Wiki Redirect.

7 Then, click on Document Library Settings in the Settings menu in your wiki item list. On the settings page, click Wiki Redirect settings. On the Wiki Redirect Settings page, configure your settings and click OK. Uninstallation: Run setup.exe again. (If the setup file has been deleted, please download it from On the Repair and Remove page, select Remove and click next. The SharePoint Wiki Redirect feature will then be uninstalled.

You can refer to the Installation Instructions and FAQ if you have any questions regarding using SharePoint Wiki Redirect. SharePoint Wiki Redirect provides auto redirect functions for the Wiki list view. With SharePoint Wiki Redirect, you can: Control which version of a wiki page is displayed by default Quickly toggle between the most recently edited version and the latest approved/published version of a wiki page Set the version history page as the default view, displaying all other versions in a clickable list on the left See below for an example of how to use SharePoint Wiki Redirect: In the Wiki Page Library, click on Document Library Settings in the Settings menu of your Wiki list.

9 On the settings page, click Wiki Redirect settings. On the Wiki Redirect Settings page, you can configure the default page and version of a wiki page that will be displayed once you click on a list item. For example, if you select Wiki Page as your default page and Latest Version as the default version, the most recently edited version of the wiki page will be displayed when you click a list item. 10 If you select Wiki Page as your default page and Current Approved Version (Published Version) as the default version, the most recent published/approved version will be displayed by default (note that the most recent published version might not be the most recently edited version). Remember that if you selected Require content approval for submitted items on the Version Settings page, you will be directed to the current approved version of a wiki page when you click on an item. Otherwise, you will be directed to the most recent published version of the wiki page. If you selected History Page as your default page and Latest Version as the default version, the version history page with the latest version of the wiki page will be displayed by default. All previous versions of the wiki page will appear in a clickable list in a column on the left (see below):

11 If you selected History Page as your default page and Current Approved Version (Published Version) as the default version, the version history page with the most recent published version of the wiki will be displayed by default. All other versions (both previous and subsequent) will appear in a clickable list in a column on the left (see below):
