THE ENERGYAID SOLAR PPA SAVE THOUSANDS OF POUNDS A YEAR KEY FEATURES Our Solar PPA is a simple way of switching to a low cost clean electricity supply, with no up front or maintenance cost incurred by you. We will install, own and maintain the system on your roof for free; you will only pay for the electricity you use each month, at a rate of 4.9p/kWh. Any electricity you do not consume we sell into the grid. The Solar PPA works with your existing electricity supply arrangements, there is no need to change anything as you will continue to buy electricity above what the solar system supplies to you. The Solar PPA term is 21 years: After which you own the system and will be required to pay an nominal cost of 1.00 Working with us means that you only ever have one company to deal with throughout the life time of the project, from development and construction through to operations and maintenance. INSTALLATION TIME LINE THE SOLAR PPA SYSTEM INTEGRATION INTO YOUR PROPERTY AND GRID CONNECTION SIGN PPA FEASIBILITY 7-10 DAYS We gather data on: The building structure Roof type Electrical systems Connection to the grid 1. SOLAR PANELS: Silicon based Photovoltaic (PV) cells that convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity. 2. INVERTER: Converts DC electricity into alternating current (AC) electricity. 3. GENERATION METER: Measures the total amount of electricity generated. START CONSTRUCTION COMMISSIONING DEVELOPMENT CONSTRUCTION 1-2 WEEKS We design the system, ensuring any planning permissions and grid agreements are in place. Final documents are signed, components are ordered and we prepare for installation. 1 DAY Access (scaffold or other) are prepared. External works: Mounting system and panels Internal works: Cabling,inverters, meters, circuit boards and switches. 4. ELECTRICAL PANEL: The AC electricity transfers through the electrical panel into your property to power your business. 5. IMPORT/EXPORT METER: Measures the surplus electricity which is either imported for business needs or exported as excess. 6. UTILITY GRID: Your business will still be connected to the grid for surplus power requirements. 7. ENERGYAID MONITORING SYSTEM: Our remote monitoring system continuously tracks your energy production and ensures that your system is running smoothly. OPERATION 21 YEARS Once operational, you will be issued with a commissioning pack. You will also have online anytime access to Energy Tracker, where you can monitor the output of the system and access other documents including invoices.

No the solar is installed on the roof with no disturbance to the business. We only enter the premises to connect the solar system to your electric board. CLIENT MEETING EnergyAid will send a representative to analyse your roof, discuss your current and potential energy usage and how you can benefit from solar. PROPOSAL We gather data on building, roof and electrical system. We will then provide you with your estimated savings over the next 21 years. SIGN AGREEMENT Your agreement secures your energy savings for the next 21 years. There are guarantees and warranties for your protection and no hidden fees. WHAT HAPPENS IF WE MOVE PREMISES? The solar system remains with the premises thus the benefits will be transferred to the new occupier. IS THE SYSTEM INSURED? Yes. The system is fully insured thus there is no risk for the business. ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN CLAUSES? 4 5 6 No. The legal documents whilst long ensure full clarity and transparency. WHAT ARE WE EXPECTED TO DO? Sign a Lease (allowing us to install the system on the roof) and an Electricity agreement which guarantees you the cheaper price electricity generated by the system. TAILORED DESIGN One of our surveyors and engineers will visit your site within days to take a closer look at your roof and take measurements. They will then design a solar PV system established on your building s dimensions and requirements. INSTALLATION After obtaining all permits and inspections, your solar PV system will be installed. This typically takes 2-3 weeks. CONNECTION At this point, all you have to do is start generating your own affordable and clean energy. WHAT ABOUT RPI & ENERGY INFLATION IN RELATION TO MY SYSTEM? The electricity price you pay for electricity you use from the system rises with RPI (currently 2% to 3% p.a.) which is a big benefit compared to the current electricity providers who are increasing prices at 5% to 7% p.a
