Asset Hub HP Asset Hub is the Marketing pan-hp Digital Asset Management system (DAMs) for more than 23k users around the globe (HP Marketers, Agencies and Channel Partners) Asset Hub provides access to a wide range of HP digital marketing assets product images, overview videos, interactive demos, campaign files, documents, and brand photography and iconography. Asset Hub employs simple navigation, powerful search features, and collect & share functions that makes finding and retrieving easy for all users. Key take-aways so far All Event Syndication content will be migrated to Asset Hub! By early August 2015, Asset Hub is your application of choice for uploading Event assets. Asset Hub is the centralized asset management solution for HPI s and HPE s marketing assets. Two instances of Asset Hub are available one for HPE and one for HPI. This migration helps to reduce cost, save time and consolidate marketing efforts across HPI and HPE. There are three different roles in Asset Hub reader, contributor, editor Permissions remain pretty much the same as before in ESP 11
Navigate to Event assets Event folder 1. On the Asset Hub homepage, select Folders 2. On the next page, click on Events in the Shared area 3. On the next page, you will see all Event folders 12
Navigate to Folder area Thumbnail and list view of assets 4. Select a folder, e. g. HP World Tour 2015. Per default, you will see the thumbnail view of assets. 5. By clicking on this icon, the list view of assets becomes visible. 13
Searching assets
Searching assets Different options The most recommended option is to search from the Folders functionality Step-by-step instructions Select the respective Event folder, e. g. HP Discover 2015 Las Vegas Either scroll through the assets for finding what you are looking for OR Run a search by entering a keyword, e. g. boilerplate or elevator pitch In addition or alternatively, you can use the Advanced Search and set filters: - Event tactic (e. g. registration reports) - Mime type (= file format) - Keywords - Event life cycle (pre-event, during-event, post-event) 15
Searching assets Searching in an Event folder 1. Go to Folders 2. Go to Shared 3. Select Events and then the respective folder, e. g. Mobile World Congress 2015 4. Enter a keyword in the generic Search field 5. Run the search 16
Searching assets Advanced search For a more detailed search, you can use the Advanced Search functionality. Within the respective Event folder, select Advanced Search. The filters will appear. - Event tactic - Mime type - Keywords - Event life cycle 17

Previewing assets
Previewing assets Document By simply clicking on an asset, the asset details become visible and it can be previewed. You can also scroll through a document directly from the thumbnail view. 21

Downloading assets
Downloading assets Once you have located and selected your asset, 1. Click on the blue Download icon 2. Check the DRM*) Usage Rights and Restrictions box 3. Click Download Note: Checking the DRM Usage Rights and Restrictions box is your acknowledgement that you understand any usage restrictions the asset may have and will not use the asset in a way that violates those restrictions. *) Digital rights management 24
Downloading assets Download multiple assets 1. Go to folder where assets are located, e. g. HP World Tour 2. Now, you have two options: - Either click on action and select the assets to download OR - Hold the ctrl key and select the assets 25
Downloading assets Download multiple assets 3. Click on Download 4. Choose rendition 5. Check the DRM Usage Rights and Restrictions box 6. Click Download 7. Your download request is being processed. Once the zip file is ready for download, you will receive an email and a notification in your inbox with the direct link. 26
Key take-aways so far Assets can be previewed directly from the system without the need to download them. Also scrolling through a document is possible directly from an asset s thumbnail. Videos can also be streamed directly from the system. An asset can be downloaded from the Asset Hub homepage or from a folder. Asset Hub also allows for the download of multiple assets. 27

Advantages in using Service Central for Asset Hub requests Log a web ticket and select your most suitable service option. Search & review tickets submitted through the portal (user dashboard); add comments & update existing tickets, re-open closed tickets within 3 working days. Ticket status notification Receive a system generated message when a ticket is created, updated or closed. The closure notification will consist of a complete resolution, link to the ticket on the web, contact information & attachments (if applicable). 31

Step 4: Click on the option that best describes your issue. Example: If you want to ask for access upgrade, mouse-over Access 1, then click on Access Upgrade 2. Your ticket is now opened and assigned to the right team. Notes: Triplet, E-Mail, Region, Country and Language fields are automatically populated depending on the catalog options chosen so far and on your profile. 38

Following up on / responding to a ticket Checking the status of a ticket For follow-ups, comments, responses on/to a ticket, or if you want to check the status of a ticket, please access the main page of Service Central; all your tickets are visible within the My Requests section. Select the respective ticket, and you will see the entire ticket history. Click here! 40

Technical Issues & FAQs Browser: Service Central works best with IE 10 and above, Google Chrome and Firefox. Service Central Error message: A Service Central error message is observed because of the following reasons: Submitting a ticket using the Service Central application that is in inactive mode for more than 10 min Trying to perform too many actions at the same time Solution : Close the application Perform basic trouble shooting steps like clearing the cache and temporary internet files Access Service Central from a new browser & submit your request If an error message shows up again, click on the Click here to send an email link in order to escalate the issue; select the Business function and team. In the comments section describe the steps that you were performing while you encountered the error message. Based on the comments, the Service Central team will suggest troubleshooting steps and if needed they will notify IT. 45
