1) Open your Internet browser to the Employee Portal home page. Click the ADP HR, Payroll and Benefits link from the Quick Links section. 2) Type your network Username and Password. This is the same information you use to log in to your computer. Click the Login button. LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE OFFICE LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS FROM HOME (NOT ON KEY NETWORK) 1) Open your Internet browser and type www.keyenergy.com in the address bar. 2) Click the employee login link above the Recent News section. 3) Check the box to confirm that you are a Key Energy Services employee. Then select the HR, Payroll and Benefits option and click Submit. 4) The Key Energy Services Central Login page will open. 4a. If you have a Key network id (user name and password), type your network Username and Password. Click Login. 4b. If you DO NOT have a Key network id (user name and password), follow the steps below: Type your full Employee Identification Number (including the preceding 1111) as your Username. ACCESSING etime 1) Roll your mouse over Time & Attendance and click on Welcome. The Welcome page displays where you will find helpful information and recommended links. Roll your mouse over Time & Attendance and click on etime. THE etime PAGE When you login to etime, your home page contains five folder tabs: GENERAL, MY QUICKNAVS, TIMEKEEPING, SCHEDULING, and MY INFORMATION. If you roll your mouse over any of the folder tabs, a menu displays. Click on the menu item to perform tasks in the system. The table below explains the menu items. Displays a list of timecards submitted to the manager; review the list for missed punches. Displays the current accrual balances for all of the employees who report to the manager. Approve, reject, offer, or reject a time-off request. Displays your timecard for a specific pay period; defaults to the timecard for the current pay period. Displays a list of reports available to you; select a report in the list to see a description of it on the page. Displays your MY REQUESTS page, from which you will submit time-off requests. 2
RECONCILING TIMECARDS For each pay period, you will reconcile timecards twice. The first time, review the reconciliation list, looking for errors on the timecards. After all of the timecards are correct, approve the timecards. Then review the timecards again to ensure that they will be processed correctly. 1) Roll your mouse over TIMEKEEPING and click on Reconcile Timecard. 2) Select All Home from the Show list and Previous Pay Period (for approving after the pay period closed) OR Current Pay Period (for approving when the pay period has not yet closed) from the Time Period list. 3) Click the Totals Up To Date column heading to sort the list and display incomplete timecards at the top. 4) Review the displayed list, checking for missing punches and other discrepancies on the employees timecards. 5) If necessary, edit a timecard that contains errors (see page 6). APPROVING A TIMECARD Complete the steps in this section to review each timecard and then approve it. If you need to approve a large number of timecards, contact Payroll or consult your user guide for assistance. 1) Roll your mouse over MY QUICKNAVS and click on Employee Information. 2) Select All Home from the Show list and Previous Pay Period (for approving after the pay period closed) OR Current Pay Period (for approving when the pay period has not yet closed) from the Time Period list. 3) In the list of employees that displays, roll your mouse over Actions and click on Select All. 3
5) On the TIMECARD page, review the time entries for each employee. 6) Roll your mouse over Approvals and click on Approve. 7) Click Next Employee. 8) Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you have approved all of the timecards for your employees. etime: Approvals APPROVING A TIMECARD (continued) RECONCILING TIMECARDS For each pay period, you will reconcile timecards twice. After you approve all of your employees timecards, then reconcile the timecards again to ensure that they will be processed correctly. 1) After you approve your timecards for the pay period, roll your mouse over TIMEKEEPING and click on Reconcile Timecard. 2) Select All Home from the Show list and Previous Pay Period (for approving after the pay period closed) OR Current Pay Period (for approving when the pay period has not yet closed) from the Time Period list. 3) Click the Totals Up To Date column heading to sort the list. 4) Review the list, ensuring that each timecard shows approvals by the employee and manager and that each has a checkmark in the Totals Up To Date column. RUNNING AN EMPLOYEE TRANSACTIONS AND TOTALS REPORT Before you begin approving time-off requests, you should run an Employee Transactions and Totals report to verify that they employees have enough time off available for their request. 1) Roll your mouse over GENERAL and click on Reports. 2) Expand the Detail QuickNav option. 3) Click Employee Transactions and Totals. 4) Click Run Report. 5) When the report finishes running (Status = Complete), select the top report in the list and click View Report. 6) Review the report in Acrobat Reader. When you are finished, close the Acrobat Reader window. 4
APPROVING A TIME-OFF REQUEST 1) Daily, check the to approve or refuse time-off requests. 2) Roll your mouse over SCHEDULING and click on Schedule Editor. 3) Select All Home from the Show list. 4) Select Current Schedule Period from the Time Period list. 5) At the bottom of the page, select All Requests, Time off Full Days (shows you the start and end dates for the time off), or Time off Hours from the Request for list. 6) Select Submitted from the Status list. 7) Click Reload. 8) If you cannot see time-off requests at the bottom of the page, move the split bar up. 9) In the list of requests that displays, select the time-off request that you need to approve. 10) Right-click on the request and choose Approved. 5
