Summary With the release of INCISIVE MD 5.2, emails sent to email domains that cannot sustain a secure connection via TLS will be sent using Microsoft Office 365 Message Encryption. Recipients of these emails will receive an email notifying them that they have received an INCISIVE MD document and requiring them to log into a secure webmail portal to see the INCISIVE MD sent email and the attached INCISIVE MD document. This knowledgebase article is to show the steps a new recipient of these emails will need to go through to see the email and view the attachments for the first time. Quick Steps 1. Receive secure email from INCISIVE MD email server. 2. View secure email notification and download webpage attachment. 3. Click on the webpage attachment to view the notification webpage in your browser. 4. View Encrypted Message Webpage and click on the View Your Encrypted Message link. 5. Create a new Microsoft account. 6. Review new account settings. 7. Verify your email address. 8. After successful account verification, re-view the Encrypted Message webpage. 9. Sign in to the secure webmail portal. 10. View your encrypted email and download INCISIVE MD attachments. Step 3 Download Webpage Attachment Depending on your email client, you will need to either view or download the webpage attachment. For users of Microsoft Outlook, they may not be able to view the webpage attachment directly from Microsoft Outlook. Step 4 View Encrypted Message Webpage Once, viewing the Microsoft Office 365 Message Encryption webpage, click View Your Encrypted Message to view the INCISIVE MD email. If you do not have a Microsoft Account, the Office 365 email server will walk you through the process of creating a new account and verifying your email address before you can view the encrypted email message. Step 5 -- Create New Microsoft User Account If Microsoft does not find a Microsoft account with the email address that was sent the secure email notification message, the Office 365 email server will ask you to create a new account. This is a long web page, you will need to complete the necessary boxes and then also go to the bottom and do the CAPTCHA. Step 6 Review New Account Settings Once you have successfully created your new user account, you will need to verify your email address before you can login into the secure web portal. At the top of the web page, click Verify your email address to have the Microsoft Office 365 email server send a verification email to your email account. Step 8 After account verification, re-view the Encrypted Message webpage Once your email has been verified, you will be taken back to the original encrypted email message to allow you to view the message. Step 9 -- Sign in to Secure Webmail Portal Login with the email address and password you created earlier. Step 10 -- View your Encrypted Email and Download Attachments You have successfully created a new user account and can view INCISIVE MD secure email and attachments. Click on the attachment to download and view the INCISIVE MD document sent to you. If you forward this email onto another user, they will also need to have a Microsoft account in order to view the email and its attachments.
