Step #1 If you haven t already done so, apply to the College of Business. Link: http://www.uwec.edu/academics/college business/admission requirements/ Catalog year can be found on your degree audit (Page 1, near your name and major). GPA and credits earned information can also be found on your degree audit (Pages 1 & 2). If you re currently taking a class, do not enter a grade. On the right in this section, only enter the number of courses completed. In this example, courses completed are 3. Don t forget to click submit!
University of Wisconsin Eau Claire College of Business Health Care Administration Program Application for Admission and Cohort Assignment The UWEC Health Care Administration (HCAD) program offers a premiere education, combined with an advanced experiential practicum the final year. Applicants selected for participation in Step the program #2 are expected to demonstrate experience and a passion for wanting to make a difference in people s lives. If you have a head for business and a heart for caring, this program and future career may be a good fit for you. Selection decisions for the program include consideration of GPA, health care and leadership experience, drive/motivation/passion of the student, future career goals, and availability in the desired practicum cohort. Achievement of a grade of C or better is required in all HCAD major coursework, and a minimum GPA of 2.75 are required to apply. These are also graduation requirements. Applicants below these requirements may be considered for a provisional admittance on a case by case basis, if space allows. What do you see yourself doing in five to ten years? We want to know how your participation in the program will add value to you, your classmates, the program, and the field.

Business Writing (15 min) appointments: assistance with resumes, cover letters, emails, CoB reports, memos, etc.
Step #6 Packet Deadline The spring application deadline for the 2016 practicum cohort is Friday, March 6, 2015. Applications are due by 4pm in Schneider 400C.
