graduate programme Our 18 month programme will power your progress, from graduate to business expert or technical specialist. We offer a starting salary of 28,000 (or 30,000 in London), an attractive range of benefits and a permanent contract from day one. Zartasha, Client Services Management Graduate I graduated from Warwick University in Sociology. Atos immediately stood out as a firm where I could see myself being constantly challenged yet provided with a great deal of support at the same time. The two-week graduate induction was a great start in building my graduate community network. As a Service Manager, I have constant exposure to senior management and no two days are the same. Everyone has been very welcoming, and the opportunity to get my ITIL qualification soon after joining made the transition from a non-it background much easier. Claire, HR Graduate I graduated in Biology from Nottingham University. I found Atos offered a diverse range of graduate opportunities that provided both exposure and responsibility. Also, Atos was open to accepting any degree discipline, allowing me to pursue my ambition of progressing into HR. The scheme allowed me to contribute my own innovative solutions, explore new ways of working and completing projects, which have now been incorporated into company policies and procedures. Abbas, Information Security Graduate I studied Business Computing and IT at Aston University and came across Atos while researching leading IT services companies. I joined the Atos Graduate Information Security scheme in 2013 and received intensive training through the Atos Cyber Security Academy. Part of my role is to support established accounts to include; configuration of tools and services, production of reports, monitoring of services, and researching trending events relating to Information Security. My experience has been great, Atos has been really supportive of my development and I have the opportunity of working alongside senior members of the team on a regular basis. Beth, Project Management Graduate After completing a degree in Business Studies with Project and Operations Management from Bournemouth University, I was looking for graduate roles with real responsibility and career development opportunities and I found Atos. I joined the Portfolio Development area and have been involved in a variety of projects that have broadened my IT knowledge and given me real-life project management experience. I completed the ITIL Foundation qualification as well as having project management training, which I m implementing into my work every day. FAQs and application process We re powered by our people and give them all the help and support we can, and we want to do the same for you. So, before you visit our graduate careers website and apply online, please read this guidance. What is the closing date for applications? Please check online to see the current closing date. We encourage you to apply early as our popular schemes fill up fast and we start our assessment centres in December shortly after we close for applications. What do I need to join you? In general, a 2:1 degree in any discipline, which does not have to include an IT component. However, we ll consider exceptional candidates with a 2:2 provided you have a strong work or extracurricular record. What does the recruitment process involve? There are four stages: an online application form, numerical and verbal reasoning tests, a telephone interview, and finally a full-day Assessment Centre event. When will I start? Our 2016 intake dates are likely to be in June, September, October and November, although earlier start dates can sometimes be possible. Can I choose my location? We recruit for locations across the UK and will discuss your preference with you. You can see a full list of our UK centres on our website. Some roles are based at a fixed location, whilst others require periods of time away from home at client sites. Do you accept applications from non-uk graduates? We welcome applications from any candidate, regardless of background or country of study, in accordance with our equal opportunities policy. internship programme If you re in your penultimate year of study and want to start gaining experience before you graduate, you re in luck. A 12 month or 3 month paid internship with Atos will give you everything you need. With opportunities across the UK, you ll enjoy an intensive induction, followed by on-the-job training. You ll receive detailed feedback throughout and, wherever possible, we ll give you live assignments to build your confidence and capabilities. What s more, if your performance during the 12 month Internship Programme is really exceptional, you could return to university with a firm job offer ready for when you graduate, meaning we ll provide you with sponsorship payments of 500 per term for your final year. During my internship with Atos, I was impressed with the variety of opportunities I had to apply the technical and business skills I had acquired on my course. Straight away, I was helping a senior developer redesign a major broadcasting client s intranet site. I also acted as lead developer for the beta launch of a web portal site for a major public sector client. It was fantastic to have real responsibility for my projects and make great friends too.
