Injazat Consulting Services One of the features that makes Injazat unique is its ability to provide an end-to-end service to clients. A key contributor to this service is the Injazat Consulting Group which exists to assist both Injazat and its clients in optimizing IT investment through the full realization of project benefits. The Consulting team also offers deep sector experience and employs world class methodologies in developing solutions, drawing on EDS and HP global best practices. Successful consulting engagements so far in 2009 include: ADWEA Applications Rationalization: A group of applications were identified as minor/bespoke applications at ADWEA s group of companies. The Consulting Team analyzed and subsequently made recommendations for each application, addressing issues such as risks of data loss and lack of support. In addition, the approach ensured that ADWEA was assisted with early benefit realization through de-commissioning of unused/unfit applications, reducing infrastructure cost and workload. Dolphin Energy Management of Change Strategy: Injazat Consulting has provided Dolphin with a best-fit Management of Change Strategy for their Infrastructure Transformation and Standardization DUNE Project using Injazat consulting expertise and proven EDS delivery framework. This strategy drew the baselines for: stakeholder analysis, project awareness & understanding, stakeholder involvement & communication, business readiness & change impact assessments, and training needs analysis & recommendations. The team then advised Dolphin on how to proceed with implementing the strategy throughout their project and introduced Injazat Ti2 to deliver quality training for the program. Tabreed Business Transformation and Strategy: Injazat Consulting conducted a business strategy and associated implementation plan review for Tabreed enabling them to exploit the current business climate while looking ahead at managing upcoming changes. The review employed Injazat Consulting s delivery framework and methodology to conduct end-to-end process analysis and suggest Best Practice solutions. Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) Value Management: Injazat Consulting was engaged to develop the value proposition for the investment in improved IT capabilities for ADSB. This work was driven by three key areas: people, process and technology using EDS proven methodology and framework. The team conducted a significant number of interviews with ADSB key stakeholders to identify the organization s vision, business strategic objectives and IT related value, in addition to assessing and comparing the existing and proposed ERP systems at ADSB. Al Taif Client Friend Support: Using its defence sector experience, Injazat Consulting has been supporting the transformation of the engineering processes within Al Taif, improving productivity and reducing delivery times. In summary, Injazat Consulting has been very successful in developing a portfolio of offerings that complements the broader IT delivery services provided by Injazat. By engaging early in a program s lifecycle, Injazat Consulting is able to support the development of clear outcomes, shaping business benefits and hence guide the technical specification that will lead to their realisation. Concurrently, by addressing the People elements of projects, achievement of delivery timelines and accrual of tangible benefits is significantly improved. Injazat Delivers Individual Development Plans (IDP) of UAE Nationals Injazat recently completed the delivery of Individual Development Plans (IDP) for all its 130-strong Emirati workforce. The Injazat Institute (Ti²) delivered full IDP s for Injazat s UAE Nationals in parallel with the new Performance Appraisal System being rolled out by Injazat s HR department. Ti² developed the IDP process in June 2008 and successfully implemented and delivered full IDPs for all UAE National employees by the end of February 2009. The IDP s for each UAE National were developed over a 4-6-week period of collaboration involving Ti² specialists, the individual, and their respective line managers. Ti² developed assessments against Injazat s core job competencies to identify critical skills gaps. This enabled development activities to focus on the skills and competencies required to support career development and corporate business needs. Activities were mapped out over a two-year period, with six monthly reviews built into the process. High-priority activities were scheduled for completion within the first six to eight months, while medium to low activities were set for between eight to twenty four months. Activities were then reviewed and re-prioritized every 6 months based on the individual s progress and current business needs. The successful participants have already started their development on a wide variety of programs and certification tracks that look to enhance their skills within their current and future job roles. E.N.G.I.N.E. leadership model introduced to 70 Injazat employees via special workshop A special workshop was held for 70 Injazat employees at the Injazat Data Center to introduce E.N.G.I.N.E. leadership model. The E.N.G.I.N.E. concept is based on six pillars of leadership which focus on work attitude and organizational performance enhancement. Al Ain Municipality General Manager H.E. Awad Khalifa Al Darmaki was invited to outline its key principles. The E.N.G.I.N.E. model has become a popular human resource tool among several leading organizations across the UAE. Injazat Client Care Director Ali Al Neaimi said: Today s highly competitive business environments require a new breed of employee development strategies that focus on productivity and positive reinforcement. The E.N.G.I.N.E. model points us towards the right direction in terms of how we should develop decision making and management and properly motivate our personnel. Improving the leadership capabilities and character of our employees in turn translates to better service delivery to our customers. The HUB 5
