3 IBM Global Services 3 The solution a catalyst for change The IBM Foundation HCM implementation methodology for Oracle s e-business Suite HCM application takes IBM s unrivalled knowledge of real-life client experiences from around the world, and brings it together with Oracle s leading HCM software a product designed and developed specifically for the UK market. It combines the fast implementation, low risk, and predictable cost of a traditional packaged approach with the flexibility and scalability of the world-class HCM systems for which IBM is renowned. The solution comprises a total of 50 processes across HR, Payroll and Contingent Workers with seven distinct custom interfaces, which incorporate Templated User Guides to assist end-user training. More effective training means that the benefits of the system are realised more quickly and careful planning means that they are targeted to the client s specific requirements. IBM s extensive asset library supports Foundation HCM s accelerated delivery methodology by providing a comprehensive suite of leading Industry Practice Business Process maps which identify exactly what actions and roles are required for world class HR performance. They provide a preconfigured package of solutions, and enable Foundation HCM to deliver a tiered set of implementation options in response to the needs of an individual organisation, acting as a catalyst for change management.
