Our background MVV, our parent company, was established in 1873 as a local energy and water supplier in the industrial city of Mannheim. It was the first German municipal utility to go public in early 1999 and since then has evolved as a genuine pioneer in domestic and international markets. Its services now extend beyond the home city of Mannheim to dozens of other municipalities and utilities inside and outside Germany. Maria Alonso, Commercial Project Management We offer MVV decon provides services throughout the entire investment project cycle, including project identification and appraisal, feasibility studies, planning and design, project management, procurement, construction supervision as well as project monitoring and evaluation. We offer a full range of technical and commercial utility services ranging from management and service contracts, quality control to loss reduction programmes, corporate sales and expansion strategies. Our staff give competent advice and technical assistance for policy implementation, programme management as well as guidance on institutional development, sector and corporate restructuring, capacity building and training. What we do Through consultancy and engineering we offer first-class professional solutions for the various pressing issues that our public and private sector clients encounter in their operations. For example, clients may typically approach us with a request to conceptualise a new district heating system for their city, devise a feasibility study for the rehabilitation of their water distribution network, or supervise the construction of electric power facilities.
