3 APPLICATIO Training & Management GmbH APPLICATIO - founded in is an independent international service company with extensive experience in emerging/transitional countries as well as industrialised countries. APPLICATIO offers planning and realisation of highly practice-oriented training programmes, project management, consulting services as well as advisory and technical assistance to commercial companies, institutions, organisations and NGOs. To cover this broad range of services APPLICATIO consists of three business units, which interact in numerous ways: International Management & Marketing Academy (I.M.M.A.); International Development Consult (I.D.C.); eacademy I.M.M.A. specialises in capacity building and upgrading management skills for executives and junior management. While I.D.C. focuses on providing qualified consultancy services to promote operational efficiency and management capabilities, the eacademy contributes to the development of E-Learning especially through developing E-Learning strategies and courses as well as implementing, managing and supervising E-Learning programmes. APPLICATIO - three ways to successful development! I.M.M.A. offers capacity building, I.D.C focuses on development consulting and the eacademy provides and promotes E-Learning. Alle projects implemented by APPLICATIO are based on in-depth understanding of the situation and conditions in the target countries and intercultural sensitivity. In project implementation APPLICATIO takes into account gender issues, environmental protection measures and the idea of sustainability.

4 International Management and Marketing Academy (I.M.M.A.) I.M.M.A. offers training to promote the competitive ability of commercial companies, organisations, institutions and NGOs on an international level. This is reached by adapting relevant know-how to suit the specific situation. In particular, I.M.M.A. offers training to senior and junior management personnel from both emerging and industrialised countries. The capacity building, tailored to a particular target group, is achieved through individual seminars/workshops, long-term and short-term training programmes as well as study tours. Key topics of the capacity building activities are: Regional economic development and export promotion; Organisational development, management and leadership; Human resource management; Personal development and soft-skills; International project management. Capacity Building APPLICATIO established the International Management and Marketing Academy (I.M.M.A.) with exclusive focus on training executive personnel from emerging countries in Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. All seminars are conducted by experienced I.M.M.A. experts from various fields of commercial and academic practice who possess comprehensive experience in their respective technical areas. The close cooperation with I.D.C. and its expert personnel services ensures that training activities lead to practical changes and improvements in the day-to-day business. I.M.M.A.'s training programmes are always tailored specifically to the particular group of trainees - there are no standardised programmes! The training programmes are highly practice-oriented, i.e. they are implemented by way of workshops but also onsite in companies both locally and overseas, and include a great number of case studies, exercises, excursions, etc.

5 International Development Consult (I.D.C.) I.D.C. s activities support the development and global competitiveness of commercial companies, organisations, industrial sectors, NGOs and civil society. I.D.C.'s services are developed and delivered with strong focus on the specific needs of the project and client in question. Apart from systematic planning and execution, its international consultancy services and project management assistance are based on specific regional and technical knowledge and experience, intercultural sensitivity and strong stakeholder involvement. Development Cooperation Projects International Development Consult (I.D.C.) functions as a qualified technical consulting service without commercial or political linkages. I.D.C. is highly experienced in developing solutions which look beyond what traditional methods have to offer. I.D.C. offers consultancy services comprising advisory and technical assistance in planning and implementing measures in the fields of: Regional economic development, export promotion and international marketing; Small and medium industry promotion and organisational development; Secondary, vocational and tertiary education. Project activities of I.D.C. comprise all stages of international development cooperation, i.e.: Definition of tangible promotion options, sector and regional analyses, formulation of development strategies; Pre-feasibility and feasibility studies and business plans in accordance with internationally accepted standards; Project implementation and project management, project evaluation and monitoring. In project execution, I.D.C. takes full account of prevailing local conditions and the relevant national development policy objectives, socio-economic and ecological planning objectives, and focuses on the market-oriented thrust of the project.

Value for money, worldwide availability, accessibility at any time and place and interactivity are just some of the factors that speak in favour of E-Learning in the context of Capacity Building worldwide. Activities of the eacademy include, but are not limited to: E-Learning The APPLICATIO eacademy supports development and international competitiveness of companies, organisations, NGOs, civil society and industrial sectors through E-Learning solutions. E-Learning strategy development; Capacity building for E-Learning in order to enable organisations to make best use of E-Learning; Management of complex E-Learning projects incl. project development, project management, monitoring and evaluation; Tutoring of virtual learning groups and supervision of E-Learning programmes; E-Learning content development for full courses and modules; Technical support for E-Learning programmes; Development of instructional designs and E-Didactic concepts; Assistance in setting up E-Learning centres; Consulting in the fields of E-Learning technologies and software.
