Our mission is to inspire the people we serve to realize their greatest potential. SM

No greater hope of recovery. No finer promise of achievement. We believe that providing the right treatment, at the right time, in the right environment provides the greatest hope of recovery to individuals with serious injuries. No better place to heal Rainbow s Continuum of Care allows us to treat adults and children in our residential homes, outpatient treatment centers, the client s own home or in the community. This wide ranging Continuum provides the flexibility needed to develop individualized programming for every person we serve, utilizing the right setting in conjunction with state-of-the-art techniques and equipment. No greater hope of recovery In order to fully implement flexible, individualized programming, we employ and retain outstanding health care professionals who provide unmatched quality care to our clients. No finer promise of achievement The goal for every person we serve is reintegration into the community at the highest level of independence possible. For our clients to achieve this promise, we believe that dignity and respect are the basic foundations of care at every level of the organization, and that ongoing encouragement and support helps those we serve to realize their greatest potential.

Programs Far more than a collection of programs, Rainbow offers a Continuum of Care that provides unparalleled flexibility in progressing clients to their maximum level of independence. Active Rehabilitation Program At Rainbow we recognize that rehabilitation is not one-size-fits-all. Clients in the Active Rehabilitation Program participate in highly individualized, intensive treatment that incorporates our vast array of treatment professionals. Clients are challenged to achieve their goals and are given daily opportunities for success. Key components of the program are ongoing team meetings, inclusive of client and family, to update and develop new treatment goals, outcomes measurement and progress reporting. Neuro-Behavioral Rehabilitation Program Rainbow s Neuro-Behavioral Program provides a unique care option for clients when moderate to severe behaviors interfere with the goals of therapy and community re-entry. This program is directed by a Ph.D.-level psychologist and a team of mental health therapists, substance abuse specialists, behavioral analysts and other staff trained in behavior modification. Principles involve positive reinforcement, peer mentoring and modeling. Educational support and vocational training are provided when appropriate, and opportunities for transition to increasingly less structured environments are encouraged as clients learn and maintain new skills. By design, clients move seamlessly through programs at Rainbow. Our ability to offer programs and living environments uniquely paired to an individual s needs is unmatched. From hospital discharge to community re-entry, Rainbow has a collection of programs designed to treat each client with optimal care at every stage of their rehabilitation. Medical Rehabilitation Program Catastrophic injuries are often complicated by medical needs requiring specialized care. For these individuals, we are more than rehabilitation service providers or caregivers. We are advocates for the improvement of health and wellness, both physically and emotionally. Our Medical Rehabilitation Program can often mean earlier discharge from the hospital, a reduced need for subsequent hospitalizations and easier management of medical conditions. Our nursing staff works closely with the client s doctors and other health care professionals to provide appropriate, high-quality medical care with the focus on meeting the changing needs of the client. Pediatric Program The needs of children are quite different from those of adults. For this reason, Rainbow s Pediatric Program is set apart from other programs. Key elements are: After-School and Saturday programs Therapeutic Summer program Day Treatment Interpersonal skill building Tutoring and educational support Leisure education A team of pediatric specialists provides age-appropriate therapies and guidance. Young Adult Program This program is designed to assist young adults in gaining meaningful employment and developing the skills to initiate and maintain relationships. Fundamental components of the program are educational support, learning work skills and job coaching assistance. Both the Pediatric and Young Adult programs are led by a Ph.D.-level pediatric psychologist and are located in an excellent school district near abundant community resources.

No finer promise of achievement Supported Living Program Rainbow s Supported Living Program is designed for individuals who have achieved their maximum level of independence and still require ongoing care and supervision. Community outings, fitness, health and wellness, and leisure skills are emphasized. From day trips and sporting events to weight training and aquatic therapy, clients have numerous opportunities to engage in social activities and maintain a high quality of life. Semi-Independent Living Program The Semi-Independent Living Program is designed to encourage personal independence. Graduated levels of supervision are provided, and clients advance to increasingly lessstructured settings as goals are achieved. This program offers a safe and supportive environment as clients take the last critical steps toward independence. Treatment is focused on: Meal planning Vocational skill development Behavioral control Grocery shopping Problem solving Interpersonal skill development Budgeting Household chores Medication management Vocational Rehabilitation Program In order to help our clients enter or re-enter the work community successfully, we ve established a comprehensive vocational program for adults and teens. Many of our clients earn a wage working at our sheltered workshops or in area businesses that share our recognition that everyone has something to contribute to the community. Jobs and training program areas include administrative work, light assembly, hospitality, customer service, manufacturing, warehousing, sales, recycling, landscaping, farming, vehicle detailing and packaging. Home and Community Program Clients can call on Rainbow to provide ongoing individual therapies, nursing services, personal care, and training in activities of daily living such as meal preparation, shopping, money management and community access. These services help maintain the success achieved after leaving our residential settings, following hospital stays or when participating in home-based therapy programs. Rainbow s team works with the client and family to develop a plan of care and implement the programs needed for successful independent living. Clients participating in Home and Community Programs have ready access to an entire team of rehabilitation professionals and treatment resources. I didn t just need rehab, I needed super rehab.
