Bachelor Programme (B.Mus.) Audio and Music Production Overview: Fields of Study, Modules and Course Units The curriculum of the Audio and Music Production programme is divided into 13 fields of study, with a total of 27 modules. The key curriculum modules consist of composition, instrumental music and audio engineering complemented by key qualifications in the areas: musicology, media law and management, as well as further practical training and personality coaching. The programme s goal is to provide students with all the relevant competencies necessary for modern, artistic producers in order to implement the creative and planning processes from the start to finish when producing a piece of music. The course is successfully completed after six semesters and with 180 credit points (CP) and leads to the academic degree, Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.) upon completion of a Bachelor thesis. In this programme, the Bachelor thesis normally consists of a practice-oriented task that needs to be mastered. On individual request, students may complete either an internship semester or a semester at a foreign partner university between the fifth and sixth semester. In this case, the degree is successfully completed after seven semesters and with 210 CP.
