Task Description: See Attachment Website Assessment Activity Outcomes being assessed by this task: 5.2.1 5.2.2, 5.3.1, 5.3.2, 5.5.1, 5.6.1 Specific submission instructions 1. Students are to hand a USB to the teacher onto which the website, including the report is copied, on the due date or earlier. 2. The CD must be tested and function on 202 classroom computers, before handing in the assessment task. 3. If the assessment task is handed in late, 10% of the assessed mark will be deducted from the student s assessed mark for each day late for up to five school days. 4. If the assessment task is more than 5 days late, zero marks will be awarded. 5. If the assessment task is more than 10 days late, zero marks will be awarded and a warning letter will be sent. Students are to design a web site that will allow them to imagine and create aspects of their future world. There are two components to this assessment task; the website and a design folio page which is linked to the website. The design folio web page This is the web page in which you will record all information used in the design and production and evaluation of your web site, it is to be linked to your website home page. The following must be included in your folio web page; The design phase; Identify the target audience, key features of the webpage and the brainstorming processes behind these decisions Describe and justify your use of features such as; white space, animations, drop down menus, font type and size, links etc. Research and data gathering. The webpage must be your own work. Details of information sources (including images and sound files) used, are to be recorded. 2 of 4

Clear conclusion noting degree to which your project was successful and how this is justified. NOTE: There is to be no obscene, racist, sexist, offensive or inappropriate content either the web pages or any links.
