The VoIP network in a standalone configuration includes the LAN. The VoIP network delivers business-class features supporting standard business lines, direct inward dial (DID) lines, gateway services to local Public Switched Telephone Networks (PSTNs), and least cost routing. The VoIP solution is interoperable with the PSTN. No voice traffic is routed through the public Internet. All voice traffic will traverse Integra s private VoIP network. Integra complies with FCC emergency service requirements including E9-1-1 services to identify the location of an originating station and route the call to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). Integra is responsible for updating the E911 database when end-user equipment is moved to a location with a different street address. The system is network based with all call control components residing in the Integra s network including network gatekeepers and network gateways. Integra s standalone VoIP service delivers dial tone and full functionality of features to the customer s handset. The VoIP network deployed for CALNET 3 is non-proprietary. The system uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) standards based open architecture. The handset service packages include standard, midrange, executive, and attendant handsets; and standard and executive conference room speakerphones. Geographic Availability: The cities specified below. Serving area is defined as within the city limits for each location identified.
