Safety and Security Systems Advancing security and well-being. Total Solutions in Communications Systems Specifically Designed to Safeguard People and Property

SmartMsg expands your communications footprint The alerting and notification system that lets you connect with everyone. Any place. Any time. On any device. SmartMsg is an advanced suite of applications specifically developed to promote secure, reliable, cost-effective communication solutions for: Mass Alerting and Notification Interoperable Communications Incident Scenario Management Multi-agency Coordination and Data Sharing This open system, software-centric solution supports operational continuity through a user-friendly dashboard that integrates a full range of communication software tools. SmartMsg addresses virtually any critical communications requirement by taking advantage of an organization's existing communication devices and infrastructure, and strengthening and supplementing emergency systems already in place. The end result: a comprehensive communications solution for municipal public safety, enterprise and industrial applications that promises a return on investment that is clearly justifiable.

SmartMsg offers the ideal system to manage your critical communications. SmartMsg supports urgent notification, messaging and cross-agency collaboration by integrating the full spectrum of communications voice, text and video. The user friendly, single-point interface provides a gateway to web, mobile and open XML interfaces, as well as an integrated feed for SMS applications such as Twitter. Highly accessible, the system can be controlled from a single laptop, tablet or smartphone. SmartMsg is specifically designed for the experts who are charged with managing critical situations. One-click messaging to all recipients on all devices promotes maximum simplicity. Easy-to-configure SmartMsg and its companion modules, such as ScenarioMgr and GeoSpear, use templates that allow you to think through and plan out crisis response in advance. In addition to supporting automated alerts generated by authorized users for pre-defined scenarios, SmartMsg also provides sophisticated process management tools for monitoring, reporting, and tracking. These tools permit information to be disseminated on-the-fly to speed reaction time in the face of rapidly changing situations, and allow better post-incident assessments. The fully hosted SmartMsg solution eliminates the complexity common to IT infrastructure and administration. SmartMsg gives you total control at every level of security with fail-safe reliability. The system provides user-password protection, and includes LDAP and Active Directory support for singlesystem security across your entire enterprise. Additionally, it is compatible with both Microsoft CryptoAPI and AES encryption to ensure secure information sharing. SmartMsg provides a single nerve-center that places live, real-time interoperability at your fingertips. Beyond issuing urgent mass-alerts to citizens, employees and plant personnel, SmartMsg prioritizes the task of communicating with and coordinating the efforts of essential personnel, including first responders and public safety officials. This is accomplished via comprehensive interoperability that supports both emergency alert notification and live communications across multiple networks, multiple channels and multiple devices including: Two-way VHF and UHF radios P25/Digital radios Landline phones Satellite phones Smartphones and tablets Personal computers TDD/TTY devices Hybrid cellular phones /radio devices

SmartMsg gives you more options to reach more people more of the time. SmartMsg enables you to reach more people more quickly and more reliably. In addition to using a single messaging point for all people on all devices, the system supports hosted dialing for added bandwidth capacity. In fact, SmartMsg offers the highest capacity available in the industry to ensure that you can reach everyone you need to reach. SmartMsg gives you the ability to communicate with and inform people, not just alert them. Ad hoc or template message creation supports the distribution of information to specific sets of circumstances, including pre-defined or free-form response options. SmartMsg also features real-time reporting to track the status of the alert process from failed calls to recipient responses. The only thing easier than implementing the SmartMsg suite of applications is justifying the investment. Why buy, install and maintain multiple communication methods for alerting and notification? SmartMsg provides you with a single point of contact for all users, on all devices, in all situations. Employing open architecture and an industry standard SQL database, SmartMsg supports the key goals of operational continuity and seamless system integration across multiple departments and agencies. SmartMsg flexibility gives you the ability to effectively manage the entire alerting process. The open XML interface enables SmartMsg to integrate with the communications systems from other vendors you may already have in place, as well as those you may add in the future. SmartMsg is more than the system you need today...it s the turnkey communications solution you'll be glad that you invested in years from now. SmartMsg offers all the tools you need for a comprehensive critical communications strategy. And though they will prove essential in the event of an emergency, the SmartMsg suite of applications can be just as valuable in your day-to-day communication and management reporting requirements. SmartMsg even provides scalable licensing per user, as well as dialing usage, which means you pay for just what you need, nothing more. Additionally, the initial annual renewal fee covers all licensing costs as well as remote deployment of upgrades.

The SmartMsg Suite of Applications CenterPoint is the operations dashboard that provides robust command and control for the entire SmartMsg suite of applications. Modules snap into the dashboard to create a single interface for managing the full spectrum of solutions for municipal, enterprise and industrial safety and security applications. Designed to enable communications with large numbers of users on a moment s notice, DispatchMgr gives operators and administrators the ability to facilitate and organize multiple communication groups simultaneously. It can also establish audio options and audio playback for these groups which can consist of any combination of radios, phones, PCs or other devices. ExpressMsg is a quick-launch toolbar that enables users to send template-generated, real-time SmartMsg alerts and notifications with as little as one click. When employed with SmartMsg, GeoSpear is an ESRI-based GIS application that initiates alerts to defined geographic areas. Users can send SmartMsg alerts to areas on a map by simply drawing circles, rectangles or free-form polygons, or by selecting zip codes, counties, power grids, water supply lines, etc., from pre-defined map layers. GeoSpear also allows specific addresses on a map to be pinpointed in order to issue alerts to all recipients within a defined radius of that point. MobileMsg extends the SmartMsg solution to smartphones with a mobile-optimized web interface, allowing users to initiate SmartMsg from any location. The RadioLink software application controls the Radio Interoperability Unit (RIU) by allowing users to setup and configure all cables and radios linked with the RIU. RadioLink serves as a liaison between the SmartMsg system and the RIU, effectively bridging radio and paging systems, and other push-to-talk devices, into the SmartMsg network. The ScenarioMgr incident planning and execution module allows communication scenarios to be chained together based on events and their dependencies, with other tasks or procedures in a pre-determined, step-by-step decision tree format. ScenarioMgr is uniquely suited for network and emergency operation centers, healthcare facilities and IT help desks for both commercial enterprises and public agencies. SmartMsg Client is a desktop application for initiating SmartMsg alert notifications to individuals and groups on a wide variety of communication devices from two-way radios, landlines and cell/smart phones to PCs, TDD/TTY devices and text pagers. IP-based users can also initiate voice, text, and video conferencing sessions with other users on any two-way device, share files, and collaborate via white-boarding. The SmartMsg Client provides a single point of entry for comprehensive interoperable communications in support of emergency preparedness and response, command and control, incident response, as well as operational continuity across any jurisdiction, agency, or enterprise. WebMsg provides a web-based user registration and device management site that enables authorized users to initiate and receive a SmartMsg. In addition, many administrative functions can be accessed via WebMsg to allow administrators to access and manage system functionality and user rules from anywhere they have web access.
