Cambio Brussels / STIB Informal co-operation Day-to-day collaboration between STIB and Cambio staffs on practical issues Support from STIB in order to help Cambio, when needed, for relations with local authorities

A bus to promote Combined Mobility Services

A clear benefit for the PT and the mobility Survey made on Cambio Brussels Custommers in the frame of the MOMO European Project (2009): ¾ of the respondents do not have a private car. 21% of the respondents got rid of their car after joining cambio. Customers use more public transport : - STIB (Brussels PT): + 26% - SNCB (Belgian Railway): + 21% Customers move more by foot and bicycle. More than 30% make less use of their car. Brussels Air bonus convinces.

Conclusion Public Transport and CarSharing are really natural partners The co-operation between PT and CS operators : Make it possible to develop and improve the CarSharing scheme Contribute to give a better image of the Public Transport and to improve the global mobility offer Has a positive impact on the use of PT

Conclusion A large PT offer including CarSharing and other Combined Mobility Services is a clear benefit for the city and make it possible to live and work in th city without owning a car! & Ride
