Anewbutwelltested andthought-outsolution Our built-in cistern system has been developed by Ifö s engineers together with Nordic installers and is based on Nordic experience. This means that you do not have to break the membrane in the floor to install the installation system. Instead of screwing into the floor, four or six mounting points in the wall are used. Just as stable, but much safer. Another critical point is the connections. With our solution, all pipes are cut outside the wall, an efficient way of avoiding unnecessary water damage and extending the life of the bathroom. In addition, the cistern is prepared for pipe-in-pipe installation, another safety measure. The plastic used is of the best possible quality, a safety measure that ensures good operation. Installing elements in practice The material and design as well as products make the installation of Ifö Sign installation elements as easy and safe as possible. Once you have decided how to layout your bathroom it is then just a case of installing it. All Ifö elements are installed in the same way, regardless of whether the element is for a bidet or a WC. Step 4 Use the module as a template and drill holes. Screw the module into the wall using hexagon head screws. Adjust so that the module stands vertically. The adjustable wall mounting can be easily adjusted using an Allen key through the slits. Then lock the nuts. Step 1 Step 5 Install the top and floor mountings. Adjust to the desired depth. Screw in the flush pipe and lock using the supplied clamp. Complete installation Ifö installation system is quick and easy to install, not least thanks to depth and height adjustment. In addition, the installation is wet room proof as no holes have to be made in the floor s membrane. Step 2 Adjust the height and install the module so that it is level. Tips for safe water installation: Always use approved products. Follow the installation instructions. Check that the floor s drop meets the requirements for the wet areas. All screw mountings must be made into something solid, e.g. concrete, bolts or special reinforcements (Ifö no. 9641 ). Screw mountings must not be made into just the floor or wall panels. Step 3 Install the waste pipe before the element is secured to the wall. 6 WWW.IFOSANITAR.COM/SIGN Always leave a few millimetres between the installation wall and bathroom floor. Any water leaks inside the installation wall can then be easily detected and rectified. Always install the membrane inside the actual installation wall and preferably under tiles in the bathroom. Pipe lead-ins must be correctly made and use approved materials. Try to limit the number of pipe lead-ins and avoid having them inside the installation wall. Seal bolts and water/outlet lead-ins with mould resistant silicon. Screw holes for walls and floor mountings are also sealed with mould resistant silicon. Apply mould resistant silicon around the porcelain but leave an opening under the WC.

Flushbuttons There is a wide range of buttons for Ifö s WC built-in cisterns. Choose between Ifö s classic full or half flushing, mechanical or pneumatic. It is not just taste that influences the choice, practical things also matter, for instance whether you are to carry out service work from the front or top. If it has to be vandal proof, Public Steel is the choice for you. The mechanical buttons in the table below fit the Sign built-in cistern and are found in all Ifö Sign WC elements. Position the button in front of or on top of the cistern. The small pneumatic flush buttons do require an inspection shelf but there is a greater choice of locations. The only requirement is that you keep within two metres of the cistern. FreshWC One of the biggest features is the integrated flush function which, at each flush, ensures that the WC unit is fresh, nicely scented and less vulnerable to calcification. Without having to use a cleaning block. Open the hatch and insert the Fresh WC tablet. As it is dry stored, it lasts longer. Close the hatch. A good dose of Fresh agent is released at each flush. All flush buttons have a vandal proof safety lock, which prevents unauthorised persons from accessing the Fresh WC tablet. Porcelain Combining Ifö Sign installation system and Ifö s wall mounted porcelain gives a wide range of advantages, not least when it comes to keeping the bathroom clean. Ifö s wall mounted Sign WC unit 6875 is a space saving and stylish solution. Ifö s WC units and wash basins are easy to install on Ifö Sign elements with concealed pipe routing. Centre track profile The 36 mm wide centre track profile is made of aluminium and has large screw surfaces. Two lengths are available; 2500 mm and 1020 mm. All parts are suitable for use with the profiles, which makes it easy to assemble your solution and to attach components. 2500 mm: (Ifö nr. 96700) 1020 mm: (Ifö nr. 96702) Adjustable wall mounting Makes it possible to easily align and secure the profiles. Secure the fitting in the profile s centre track and then in the wall. Supplied in packs of two. (Ifö nr. 96706) Alexibleinstallationsystem With only a few parts to worry about and without the need of special tools, you can install Ifö Sign installation system in large and small spaces. The installation system s aluminium profiles are light, which makes them easy to transport. They are always straight, insensitive to moisture and so stable that you can assemble the system outside the bathroom before putting it in place. A valuable advantage when working with larger items. The material also makes it easy to use mouldings. The choice of wall material is important as it determines the maximum c/c dimension between the vertical bolts and if the wall can be tiled. The wall material is then screwed into the profiles or modules using self-tapping standard screws. We recommend double plasterboard if the walls are to be tiled. (Ifö nr. 98131) Connection element Used in cases where profiles have to be joined or extended, or to prevent swarf. If necessary, secure the connection element in the profile using screws. A flex pack can be used to connect a module to a perpendicular wall a maximum of 510 mm away, and also has other uses. Secure pipe installation The built-in cistern is prepared for pipe-in-pipe installation with many different locations for incoming water. Choice of porcelain Choose a bolt distance that suits the WC bowl to be installed. A flexible bolt distance of 180 or 230 mm means that the system can handle different types of bowls. Can hold up to 400 kg depending on type of bowl. No risk of water damage inside the wall The flush and waste pipes have no joins and are long enough to protrude from the wall. This means that any leaks from the flush and waste pipes do not accumulate in the wall but instead drain into the bathroom. Always comply with local and national regulations for damp-proofing and waterproof membranes in buildings and structures. No risk of water damage inside the floor Wall mounting only. This means that you do not have to make holes in the floor which can lead to serious water damage. Stable, flexible waste fittings Ifö s waste fittings are made of metal, which means tighter fastening. In addition, standard pipes of standard diameters can be used, which facilitates installation. Mounting is stepless.
