Legal Nature Founded in September 1982 under the Department for Teaching and Research within the Ministry of Health of Nicaragua and in collaboration with the best global health intelligence. 1990: Reform Law 103 (Law of Autonomy of Institutions of Higher Education) assigned as a university, with public access, nonprofit, which conducts scientific research, postgraduate studies, training and technical assistance to all intervention levels: family, community, regional, national and international; under the jurisdiction of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, UNAN - Managua. 2
Vision. A School of Public Health which offers and develops programs with modern technology and accredited higher education authorities of the Central American region, generating knowledge and proposals for solutions to the problems of public health in the Region. 3
Mission. Develop processes and models for critical analysis, participation, problem solving, transformative, and coherent with the necessities and demands of the population, through training programs, consultancy and research, linked with community work, aimed at health service providers, non-governmental organizations, multilateral / bilateral agencies and national and international related bodies, which contribute to improving the health of the population. 4

Integral Childhood Development 1. Comprehensive Childhood Development for World Vision and MIFAM. Childhood Integrated International.2. Comprehensive Care Program for Nicaraguan Children PAININ from 2013-2009Trickle-down training for 46 municipalities of extreme poverty in Nicaragua:334 technicians graduate while giving trickle-down training to 5,678 community educators. While the role of the partnership of CIES-URACCAN was to monitor and track the graduation of both groups. 12
Sexual and reproductive health Online courses on Stigma and Discrimination related to HIV. (Global Fund).HIV and sexual diversity (Global Fund).Training school counselors in sexual and reproductive health, teachers of MINED and 160 teachers nationwide (Global Fund).Graduate Workshops: Training instructors on teenage sexual and reproductive health in Chinandega, Chontales Somoto and funded by PLAN International Health. 13
