The RX imola clinical analyser The RX imola clinical analyser offers an impressive range of time-saving, labour-saving and cost-saving features. It is capable of 400 photometric tests per hour, 250 ISE tests per hour. The RX imola is a true random access analyser: tests can be processed in any order and stat samples are analysed immediately. Dedicated software ensures the RX imola is straightforward to operate with a clear and logical display layout. The comprehensive range of reagents includes dedicated, liquid and one-shot reagents. The RX imola is fully supported by Randox reagents, calibrators, controls, quality control software and the RIQAS EQA programmes. In many respects the RX imola is a bigger brother of the well-established and popular RX daytona. Both are fully automated benchtop clinical analysers. Both use the same reagents, same controls, same calibrators and same software. However, the RX imola is more than just a faster version of the RX daytona. Additional features have been included to make the RX imola even more user-friendly and versatile. These include refrigerated storage of controls and calibrators and improved access for stat samples. The RX imola offers RX series convenience and flexibility as a stand-alone system in medium-sized laboratories. In larger laboratories the RX imola can be used as a stat system, a back-up system or a special chemistry system solely for lipids, diabetes, specific proteins or TDM testing.
