Facultad CCEE y Empresariales Cádiz, October 24th and 25th 2013 www.uca.es/emprendedores/5wcem Call for papers The fifth edition of the International Workshop on Cultural Economics and Management () will be celebrated in Cadiz, in the Faculty of Business and Economics, on October 24th and 25th 2013, in collaboration with the Association for Cultural Economics International (ACEI) and Fundación Autor. The University of Cadiz in this edition assumes the challenge of organising this event, inviting national and international researchers and professionals to submit proposals related to the cultural and creative industry. The objective of the is to debate and discuss about the state of the research in this field. During the four sessions results and contribution will be presented. Theoretical papers will be accepted as well as empirical contributions, with quantitative or qualitative methodologies. There are two options of participation: A) Paper, for advanced researches. Authors will have 20 minutes for presentation. After the presentation, a discussant will comment on the aspects of the paper that could be improved. The discussants will have 10 minutes. B) Work in progress, for incipient researches. Authors will have 10 minutes for presentation and 10 for discussion. Sessions will be held both in Spanish and English. The papers accepted will be published with ISBN.
Fees Reduced fee for ACEI members (before September 15th): 45 Reduced fee for non ACEI members (before September 15th): 95 Regular fee for ACEI members (after September 15th): 55 Regular fee for non ACEI members (after September 15th): 150 The fee includes workshop documents, coffees, welcome dinner on the October 24th and workshop lunch on the October 25th. Grants. The organising commitee of the V Workshop on Cultural Economics and Management will give some grants for ACEI members that request it and satisfy one of the following conditions: a. To be a student of an master degree b. To be a research scholar c. To have a doctorate after the academic course 2009/2010 In order to request for a grant the author should send, with the extended abstract, an application form. Instructions for authors Authors interested in participating in the on V Workshop on Cultural Economics and Management should send, before June 15th, an extended abstract of the paper, in pdf or word, (maximum 800 words), both in English and Spanish, to the following e-mail: workshop.5wcem@uca.es. The extended abstract must fulfil to the following guidelines: - Title - Authors//affiliation/contact details - Goals of the research - Methodology - Results - Main conclusions - Type of presentation: paper or work in progress
