The most famous group was the Beach Boys. Their music was surf rock music for the beach. Their song Surfing USA was a big hit. Green Day s music is different. It is punk rock. Today Green Day are famous. They are popular in the USA and in Europe too. But it wasn t always like that. At first they only had a small number of fans. But then they had a lucky break. 3 COMPREHENSION Jim Clough got up at 7 this morning. He had a good English breakfast eggs and bacon, a cup of tea and some fruit and then he left the house at 7.45. He works as an employee for a big company in Newcastle, and he usually drives to work, but as today it was a nice morning, he decided to walk.
