Weiler/Sauer Plus One Programming Cable Information: Programming and/or flashing the Weiler Sauer Plus-One Module and Display is possible in a couple of different ways. The first way is to use the existing Sauer USB cables from CAT designed to work with CAT machines. The only difference between the CAT cables and Weiler cables is the plug that connects to our machines is a 3-Pin MALE Deutsch Plug and CAT uses a 3-Pin FEMALE Deutsch Socket. Available from Weiler is a wire harness (P/N 18657) that can be ordered to adapt the existing CAT Plus One connector to work with Weiler machines. The pin outs on the CAT plug and our plug are the same. Shown below are the part numbers for CAT s version of the USB cable that are used to program Sauer software on CAT machines. These CAT part numbers will require the use of the adapter harness: CAT/Sauer USB Cable (Adapter Harness Required) Part Number Part Description Qty. 300-7925 Cable Assy. 1 300-7924 Cable 1 18657 Sauer Plus 1 Adapter Harness (Figure 1) 1 Figure 1 If you would like to order the complete Sauer Plus One USB cable assembly from Weiler it is available from us and would require no adapter harness.
