The following rules apply to the ABGA and Wether Sire and Wether Dam: ABGA 1. The open breeding shows will be sanctioned by the American Boer Goat Association (ABGA) and their rules shall govern. In case of discrepancy or for rules not adequately covered, the show committee's decision and/or judge s decision is final. 2. The breeding classes will use the birth dates, as listed on the registration certificate, to determine the class divisions. The show date will be the base date for computing all ages. 3. Original registration certificates are required, though a copy of a Registration Application, stamped with the date received by the ABGA, can be accepted for kids less than 3 months of age. 4. All animals must be in place, and registration papers checked in with the show secretary, by 9 am the day of the show. Pen availability will be on a first come basis. 5. Late exhibitors with animals not yet registered for show will be accepted up until 8:30 am day of show with a $25 late fee per animal per show. Substitutions are allowed. No refunds. There will be a $20.00 service charge for NSF checks. 6. All animals must be healthy. No visible signs of abscesses or other contagious diseases (pinkeye, sore mouth, ringworm etc.) will be allowed. Any unhealthy or questionable animals checked by a veterinarian will be at the owner s expense. The CCMGA reserves the right to excuse any animal of questionable health. 7. All out of state animals must have health papers (including recipient does) and proper tests needed by the state of Ohio. All out of state exhibitors must be at the fairgrounds at 8:00 am (on the day of the show) to have health papers checked by a veterinarian or they will not be able to show, and will forfeit all entry fees. 8. All goats must comply with Ohio scrapie rules. Questions: contact the Ohio State Veterinarian at 614-469-5602. 9. The Clermont County Meat Goat Association, Clermont County Junior Fair Board and/or this fairground will not be held responsible for loss, damages or accidents. 10. Any person or family not acting in an honorable manner will be required to leave immediately, and will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the show. WETHER-SIRE/WETHER-DAM 11. This show is being provided as an opportunity for those involved in the wether business to showcase those animals responsible for creating the next generation of wethers and the entries will be evaluated with this sole purpose in mind. This is not an ABGA sanctioned show. Therefore it is up to the judge to determine his own criteria for sound mouths, teats, testicles and pigment. 12. Wether - Sire, Wether Dam Show classes will be determined by weight. 13. Commercial Doe Show will be determined by date of birth and must have scrapie tag.

14. Grand Champion Wether Sire, Wether Dam and Commercial Doe will be 35% of entry fees received and Reserve Champion Wether Sire, Wether Dam and Commercial Doe will be 15% of entry fees received. 15.
