SOFTWARE AUTHORING (SAMPLES) FResampler1: Links tercile-based seasonal climate forecasts with crop and soil water balance models (F90/95; original code) H20_Balance_Polygon_v01: A polygon-based regional crop water balance model (F90/95; original code)
VACC: Vulnerability Assessment Tool for Agro-forestry Crops under Climate Change (F90/95; original code) predictwtd: A tool to predict yield for different lead times in the growing season (F90/95; original code) EnKF-DSSAT-CSM: An ensemble Kalman filter code for assimilating RS soil moisture and vegetation with DSSAT Cropping Systems Model. (F90/95; collaboration with NASA-JPL). DownSCALEv01aT: A SWAPGA coupled program designed to disaggregate regional soil moisture into local soil moisture, soils, and vegetations (DownSCALEv01bTv2). The program can estimate the contributions of soils and vegetations to the regional soil moisture in the study region (F90/95). NoisyMonteCarloGAv01: An implementation of a noisy Monte Carlo genetic algorithm (NMCGA) aimed at estimating the effective soil hydraulic properties from space using remotely sensed near-surface soil moisture data e.g. AMSR-E. The code performs conditioning of the stochastic variables (i.e. soil hydraulic parameters) such that the AMSR-E soil moisture is honored by the generated Monte Carlo spectrum of soil moisture at prescribed confidence interval (F90/95). GCM_bias_corr2: A tool for correcting the bias of simulated daily (or monthly) GCM rainfall (F90/95 original code). MLReg2: A multiple linear regression program that analyses the linear relationship between yield and seasonal/monthly precipitation in a GIS-ready format (multiple locations); a version with cross validation (i.e one year out analysis) (CValid1) and with full cross-validation (i.e predictors are fully optimized, with one-year out analysis) (CValid2) are also written; solving the sets of linear equations (up to 100 variables) derived from Least-squares is implemented using GAUSS elimination (F90/95 original code). IrrigMap_GA: A program that quantifies agricultural and water management practices and area fractions of agricultural land uses in a mixed-pixel environment using time series (aggregated or composite) of mixed RS ET or LAI (F90/95 the original genetic algorithm (GA) code was based on F77 code of Carroll (1998); agro-hydrological model used is SWAP (Van Dam et al., 1997)). IrrigMap_GA_LT: Same as IrrigMap_GA but the linkage between GA and SWAP is not dynamic but through a lookup table to improve computational efficiency in solving actual RS data (F90/95). SWAP_GA_Stochastic: A GA-based stochastic parameter estimation technique using spatial distribution of ET (from RS) to determine the spatial attributes (both physical and non-physical) of an irrigation (sub-) system (F90/95).
WatProdGA: The forward version of SWAP_GA_Stochastic that uses the derived spatial attributes of a system to determine an optimum combination of agricultural and water management practices to optimize an objective e.g. maximizing regional yield in a cropping season (F90/95). QuasiAnal: This program simulates a 1-D chemical redistribution (e.g., solute, fertilizer, pesticide) in the soil profile based on Van Genuchten-Alves equation (partial differential equation (PDE)) (original code; Fortran)
