Wimbledon Village Stables are delighted to sponsor and host the traditional Wimbledon Guild Village Fair Horse Show for the 25 th year. This event raises much needed funds for The Wimbledon Guild and we are very proud to support such an important local charity. Since its inception the Wimbledon Guild Village Fair Horse Show has grown enormously and now attracts riders from all over the South East of England. The event is additionally sponsored by Robert Holmes & Co., The All England Lawn Tennis Club, Handford Wines, G & T Business Services, Michael Platt Jewellers, MOVETO.co.uk, Parnham Funfairs, Techniquest, The Rose & Crown, Wimbledon Village Stables and many others. We would also like to thank those who give their help voluntarily on the day, without whom, the Show would not be such a success. The money raised is put to very good use, right here in the area. The Wimbledon Guild is experiencing more demand than ever in these hard times; it is only with committed local support that it can continue to provide its many valued services, such as the day centre, lunch club and healthy living activities for older people; the care home with nursing; the counselling service; and the distribution of small cash grants and of donated goods to people in desperate need. The Guild helps people to help others by volunteering in all sorts of roles; and they offer their premises and facilities to a wide variety of groups, to help people to help themselves. If you can offer any help, time, money, unwanted goods etc. please contact the Guild on: 020 8946 0735 or email: info@wimbledonguild.co.uk All the show jumping courses are built by Johnray Farrell, a highly respected BSJ course builder who has supported this show for many years. The high quality show jumps are provided by Straight Approach and the PA system by Event Sound Services. Running alongside the horse show is the Wimbledon Village Fair. Make sure you leave time to visit the stalls and enjoy the entertainment. Full details are on www.wimbledonguild.co.uk. Wimbledon Common boasts very good old turf which provides a sound jumping surface even when the ground elsewhere is hard.
