Indoor Ring (Ring 2 10:00AM Start) Schooling Breaks as needed 1-3 Short/Long Stirrup Equitation 4-6 Short/Long Stirrup Hunter 7-10 Beginner Rider Mini-Stirrup Leadline Additional Rules and Guidelines: Entry fees $25.00 per class. WHVPHA classes $30. All M & S classics and medals are $35 per class. Hunter Derby is $ M&S Child/Adult Jumper Classic entry fee is $125. A $30 nomination fee will be assessed if there are less than 5 entries. 2. Classics will be the second and third round in the corresponding division, Medal rounds will be run when jumps are set at the appropriate height. 3. Trophy and six ribbons in each class. Minimum of three entries for points to count toward high score awards. 4. High score awards will be given in each division to the horse in performance divisions or rider in equitation divisions earning the most points. 5. Exhibitors must participate in at least two shows to be eligible for high score awards. 6. Divisions to follow WHVPHA specifications. 7. Must enter at least one full division to be eligible to enter M&S classes and Hunter Derby for points to count. 8. Classics must be entered before the start of the corresponding division. 9. Classes to be cancelled, split, or combined at the discretion of management if entries warrant. 10. Champion and Reserve Ribbons in each division. Points to be awarded: 1st 10; 2nd 6; 3rd 4; 4th 2; 5th 1; 6th ½. 11. All shows will follow the guidelines of USEF rules except where otherwise specified. 12. Schooling Fee for non-showing horses is $ All horses in ring must have a number. 13. ASTM Helmets are required with strap buckled while mounted. 14.Dogs must be leashed at all times. 15. Schooling breaks will be held as needed throughout the day. 16. A $ 5 EMT fee will be charged for each entry. In order for WHVPHA points to count must complete an entire division. Over its 68-year history, the PHA has contributed to many of its needy members and numerous organizations and charities. The Western Hudson Valley PHA strives to raise the quality of horse shows within the Hudson Valley region by offering classes in different divisions in which members may compete for yearend awards.
