INVOICE Reducing costs, increasing productivity. INVOICE can be customized to your processes. INVOICE largely automates processing your incoming invoices because it covers all important processes: Capturing, data synchronization, verification, registering invoices, releasing, posting, retrieval, and reliable, revision-proof storage. INVOICE is based on DOCUMENTS. It is Web-based, multi-platform compliant, and easy-to-use in the browser. INVOICE comes with a customizable Best Practice workflow, i.e. INVOICE reproduces your specific corporate invoice processes in such a manner that all involved employees find their roles represented. INVOICE can also subsequently be customized very easily to modified processes using Microsoft Visio. First step: scan. Incoming invoices are scanned via CAPTURE, and then transferred to DOCUMENTS using INVOICE Level 1, or to xtract using Level 2. At the same time, while the data is being transferred, it is archived in a revision-proof manner because even if invoices are wrong, the numbers in the inbound invoice book must be consistent. Interpreting via xtract. xtract, which comes with INVOICE Level 2, automatically extracts invoice data. Using pre-defined rules, xtract automatically recognizes about 80 percent of contents. This rate is increased through other, specific, corporate settings. Documents not recognized by xtract are checked and entered manually, with the adaptive system constantly increasing its recognition rate. The optional ERP connector additionally enables automatic counterchecks on master and accounting data from existing ERP systems. Overview of your xtract benefits. Releasing, posting, archiving. INVOICE Level 1 transfers invoice data from CAPTURE to DOCUMENTS, while Level 2 transfers them from xtract to DOCUMENTS to enable you to perform your predefined processing steps e.g. verification, registering and releasing invoices. These processes can be customized to modified workflows at any time. Parallel to posting the transaction data, it is versioned, indexed, and stored in the archive.
