Ideal Student Profile and admission The ideal participant is a young graduate, or graduate worker at e foot of his/her career ladder, strongly motivated by an interest in e organisation and management of human resources in an international setting. This Master s Diploma is designed for graduates from all faculties, wi a 3 or 4 year Bachelor s degree, a specialisation, and for undergraduates who will complete eir degree wiin e first few mons of e beginning of e programme. Candidates who do not possess e above-mentioned degrees but have equivalent qualifications may apply. The course is taught in Italian and English - good knowledge of English is erefore required. Applications from international students are encouraged, but a good working knowledge of Italian is a requirement. Knowledge of anoer foreign language is an advantage in e application process. The maximum number of participants is 25. Admission to e Master s Diploma depends on success in e selection process which evaluates candidates suitability for e programme and for e labour market. Career oppportunities On completion of e Master s Diploma in International HR Management, students will be equipped for careers in e Human Resources, Management and Communication fields, in private and public sector companies and institutions operating in international contexts. Oer professional opportunities include consultancy firms specialised in personnel management (including Recruitment and Employment Agencies, Head-hunters, Outplacement Firms, Management Consultants, Training and Development Agencies and Schools). Course design and calendar The programme lasts ten mons and consists of classes, workshops, presentations by professionals, distance-learning activities wi group and individual project work, and an internship of two mons, leading to 70 university credits. The learning process is organised as follows:. classroom lessons (from January 29 until July 15 2014) for a total of 480 hours (about 60 full days). distance learning. laboratories and active learning opportunities, including a project to be done in groups, in collaboration wi selected companies. seminars and company visits. optional extra classroom activities. internship or field work (lasting at least ree mons) starting from July 3

There are two terms: e first (lasting one mon) is dedicated to fundamental courses and e second to specialised, professional focus courses. The fundamental courses are assigned to students according to eir curriculum and aim for a homogenisation of knowledge of business administration and language skills. Focus courses are obligatory for all students and include talks by international HR professionals in eir own language. Attendance of classes assigned to each student is mandatory. Course contents The program is divided into six closely-interlinked modules, which take a systematic approach to HR. The distinguishing feature of e programme is its highly international slant, where linguistic-cultural knowledge and skills provide e conceptual background for e course as a whole. 1. General information School site The program is taught in Via Carducci 28/30, part of e main site of e Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan. Admissions and Selection The selection process consists of ree steps: application and evaluation of e application, admission test, motivational interview. The online application form should be filled in and sent by e closing date of 15 January 2014. As explained online, e form should also be sent by post to: Ufficio Master, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Via Carducci 28/30, 20123 Milan. Upon registration, each candidate will also be required to pay a non-refundable fee of EUR 60 to cover expenses for e selection process. This payment should be included wi e application form. As illustrated below, ere will be two selection sessions, unless all e places are filled in e first session. Cost The Master Diploma costs 8200. This includes: courses attendance, teaching materials, access to e library and EduCatt lending rights, use of PC rooms, use of University Internship and Placement Services. Payment is due in ree instalments: EUR 3,200 wiin 5 days of confirming enrolment to validate matriculation EUR 3,000 by 30 April 2014 EUR 2,000 by 31 st July 2014 Scholarships and Grants for e IHRM Master Diploma A number of partner companies have provided partial or total grants for e most deserving candidates on is Master s Diploma programme.
