Project Management for Facilities Professionals OVERVIEW: With Facility Management being recognised as a vital part of an organisation s strategic objective, facility professionals are asked to manage a myriad of tasks that need to be effectively completed, most often, simultaneously. Within these tasks there are projects, large and small, that have to be looked after in order to ensure business continuity. To successfully carry out these tasks or projects, there must be a system of control that would not only manage costs, but enable facility managers to ascertain as far as possible in advance issues such as possible project delays, over laps, trade issues and quality control. This 3-day workshop will cover Project Management principles and offer insight into how these said principles apply to Facility Management, and how they should be utilised. It will also present the opportunity to disseminate current issues within the profession and the ability to propose possible solutions. Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business has been reviewed and approved as a provider of project management training by the Project Management Institute (PMI). As a PMI registered Education Provider (REP) Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business has agreed to abide by PMI established quality assurance criteria.
