Some of the destinations include Chile, Brazil, Argentina and China. Pursuing the IMBA has been a challenging yet extremely rewarding experience. Our lecturers, both local and international, provided the essential theories and helped us to adapt and utilise our learning. Our MBA included intense group projects, discussions with classmates from diverse backgrounds, a study tour and even an annual sports and family day, all of which allowed me to develop confidence and achieve personal growth that has extended into my workplace. 9 world class faculty Professor Miguel Carrillo Professor Miguel Carrillo was appointed the Executive Director at the Lok Jack GSB in June He has had a distinguished career as a professor, having taught for over 21 years in 12 different countries in three languages. His main areas of focus are innovation and strategy. Professor Carrillo obtained his Ph.D. in a joint programme between Concordia and McGill Universities. Professor Carrillo worked as Finance Director at Hewlett Packard in Mexico for eight years. Professor Rolph Balgobin Professor Rolph Balgobin is the Executive Chairman of Quicksilver Convenience Ltd. and Director of its Non-profit research arm, The Competitiveness Company. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Lok Jack GSB, Project Director in the Global Business Services Unit of Proctor and Gamble for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and as General Manager of Electrical Industries Ltd. and TEMCO. He holds four degrees, three of them postgraduate degrees in business from the Lok Jack GSB, the Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester and the Judge Business School of Cambridge University. Howard Dottin Howard Dottin has been an adjunct faculty member of the Lok Jack GSB since 2000, lecturing in Financial Strategy, Management Accounting and Financial Accounting on the MBA programmes. He has been teaching Management Accounting since His credentials include a fellowship of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and an Executive MBA. Dr. Gwendoline Williams Dr. Gwendoline Williams is currently an Associate Faculty member at the Lok Jack GSB, teaching in the Executive and International MBA and in the Master of Human Resource Management Programmes. She holds a Ph.D. in Organisational Studies, University of Warwick Business School and is also listed as an Instructor at Walden Distance University, USA. Dr. Karen Murdock Dr. Karen Murdock is the Assistant Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Lok Jack GSB. Dr. Karen Murdock holds a B.Sc. in Agribusiness Management and an M.Sc. in International Business from The University of the West Indies. Additionally, she holds an M.Sc. in Business Organisation and a Diploma of Advanced Studies from The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona where she also completed a Ph.D. in Business Creation, Strategy and Management. Dr. Murdock is the recipient of the European Doctorate Mention for work done at Växjö University in Sweden. Dr. Colin McDonald Dr. Colin McDonald holds a B.Sc in Economics and Management from The University of the West Indies and an M.Sc. specialising in Project Planning and Implementation from the International Training Centre, International Institute For Aerospace Surveys and Earth Sciences in The Netherlands (Holland). He later went on to complete a Ph.D. in Economics at The University of Goettingen in Germany. Dr. McDonald is currently the Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Full time Lecturer in Strategy at thelok Jack GSB. Jwala Rambarran Jwala Rambarran currently lectures in Economics at the Lok Jack GSB. He has two decades of experience in economics and finance, gained in private consulting. Jwala has authored several publications on monetary policy, Caribbean capital markets, international financial governance, and structural adjustment and growth. He serves as a Director on the Boards of FNCU Venture Capital Company and NOVO International, and was previously a Director on the Board of the Trinidad & Tobago Credit Union Stabilization Fund. Dr. Ron Sookram Dr. Ron Sookram leads the Corporate Responsibility portfolio at the Lok Jack GSB. Over the past years this researcher, lecturer, consultant and programme director has acquired valuable knowledge and experience in this area and continues to function as a key resource in promoting the understanding and practice of Corporate Responsibility

No application fee is required when applying online. Q: How do I apply? A: You can apply on the school s website at Q: Is this GATE approved? A: Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago can access G.A.T.E for 50% of the programme cost. Q: How are classes scheduled? A: Classes are generally scheduled on evenings and weekends. Q: When will the programme start? A: There are two scheduled intakes each year for this programme - September and January. Q: Is there an attendance requirement? A: Yes. For all programmes, there is an 80% attendance requirement for credit courses as well as a 100% requirement for workshops and non-credit courses. Q: Are textbooks included in the tuition costs? A: For the IMBA programmes textbooks are included for core courses only. All other books (workshops, non-credit courses and electives) must be purchased by the student. Q: What is the teaching method used? A: The School uses a team-based approach to teaching and learning and all students must be part of a team. Students are expected to make provisions for team projects outside of teaching hours.
