Intelligent logistical support in tunnelling is prerequisite for the high availability of the tunnel boring machines and thus for continuous and efficient construction progress. Powerful and specifically adapted multi-service vehicles from Techni-Métal transport segments, building materials and personnel reliably, safely and just in time. Reliable, efficient, flexible. Multi-service vehicles from Techni-Métal keep the complex work processes of tunnelling and tunnel lining running in parallel. With pneumatic tires or solid rubber wheels, they do not require rails. Floor segments and paved tracks and roads outside the tunnel serve as the roadway. The key advantage of MSVs is their excellent all-terrain mobility even on steep inclines and declines. Thanks to an innovative independent suspension by Techni-Métal, all the MSV's wheels have ground contact at all times. The steered rear wheels allow extremely tight turning radii.
2 3 THE IDEAL SOLUTION FOR EVERY TYPE OF JOB. Multi-service vehicles supply the TBM advance with segments and other building materials. Three model lines meet a maximum range of customer needs: MSV Single: 4-, 6- or 8-wheel vehicles with a single superstructure handle payloads from 10 to 65 tonnes. This vehicle type, in a one-meter-wide version, can also be used for micro tunnels. MSV Double: 8- to 20-wheel vehicles with a double superstructure offer payloads of 40 to 140 tonnes. MSV Triple: 24-wheelers with a triple superstructure enable payloads from 120 to 200 tonnes. The basic models of each series designed to transport segments and grout are equipped as standard with an automatic fire extinguishing system, a particulate filter and a safety system for driving on transverse gradients. Other applications include support of all work in the tunnel and transport of reinforcements, rails and operating materials such as oil, grease, or pipes. The range of products for use in tunnels includes multi-service vehicles to supply the tunnel boring machine during excavation and vehicles for lining the tunnel (lighting, rails, curbs, etc.), maintenance, and passenger transportation. Another contribution for the timely completion of tunnels. USE IN T UNNEL CONSTRUCTION. 3 Maintenance. With a crane and cherry picker the multi-service vehicles can be used flexibly for all required maintenance. For the maintenance of railway tunnels, the MSV Rail Road is used. 4 Passenger transportation. Multi-service vehicles equipped with a spacious cab transport site personnel quickly and safely (also available as the Rail Road model). 1 Tunnelling. MSVs supply the tunnel boring machine with building materials such as segments, grout, pipes, lubricants, tools and disc cutters. The site personnel can be transported in a separately mounted cab or in a specially developed Personnel Service Vehicle (PSV). 2 Lining. Multi-service vehicles can be equipped with a concrete mixer, which is used for concreting the road, the sidewalks or intermediate levels. In railway tunnels they handle the transportation of rails and sleepers for laying the track. Equipped with a cherry picker they are used for the installation of lighting, ventilation, and cables. APPLICATIONS. Infrastructure: In large-diameter tunnel construction (road, rail, subway) the multi-service vehicles from Techni-Métal play to the strengths of their entire product range. Specially designed vehicles with small external dimensions have proven themselves in small diameter tunnels. Mining: Techni-Métal adapts multi-service vehicles to the harsh environment in mines (high temperature and humidity, excessive dust) for example, by installing efficient cooling systems.
