THE COMPANY PROFILE Asil Celik was established in 1974 to produce special and alloyed steel mainly for the automotive industry, automotive components, machine tool manufacturing and defence industries. The steel plant was put into operations in 1979. Basic Engineering services and advanced production technology were supplied by Thyssen Edelstahlwerke AG of Germany. Ishikawajima - Harima Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. (IHI) of Japan manufactured the main machinery of the plant. Kaiser Engineers International Inc. of the US provided consultancy services.

THE COMPANY PROFILE Asil Çelik, with 570.000 m2 land, is located nearby Bursa. Bursa is mainly the center of the automotive industry in Turkey. The crude steel capacity is 480.000 Mtons/year. Hot rolled product capacity is 410.000 Mtons/year.
