Overview of the Moscow University of Finance and Law (MFUA) MFUA is one of the largest and oldest private universities in Russia, with approximately 40,000 students enrolled in academic programs in Moscow and across our regional campuses. Founded in 1991, the university has experienced exceptional growth, development and recognition for its academic achievements and contributions to the community. The university is currently fully accredited by the Russian Ministry of Education, and has been consistently ranked as the #1 private universities in Russia. Location: The headquarters and main campuses of the university are located in Moscow, Russia the cosmopolitan capital of the Russian Federation. 2. Comfortable and Safe Learning Environment: Providing students with a modern and safe learning environment is a priority for senior university administrators. Main MFUA campuses in Moscow have been completely remodelled over the past 5 years, and are fully-equipped with the latest leaning resources. Computer labs, free wi-fi and access to extensive library collections are available to all students free of charge. All MFUA campuses have full-time security guards, and video surveillance in order to ensure the safety of our students. 3. Affordable Tuition: Unlike many other universities, the Moscow University of Finance and Law does not charge separate tuition rates for foreign and local students. Program prices range from approximately 500 Euros per short courses, to 2,000 3,000 Euros per year (based on current exchange rates) for full time programs at the Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. levels of study 4. Diverse Student Body: The student body of the Moscow University of Finance and Law is very diverse. Currently, over 700 foreign students are enrolled in MFUA, representing 18 countries! The dedicated staff of our International Programs Office supports all students with visa invitations, registration, and information regarding accommodation options available during their stay in Russia. 5. Variety of Extra-Curricular Activities: Students who have hobbies or special interests outside of the classroom will find a variety of over 40 university clubs to join. Some of the most popular include the Comedy Improv Club (which won the Russian amateur comedy improve championship in 2013), the Student Ecological Awareness Club, the Photography Club, and the English Language Conversation Club. Students who are sports enthusiasts can watch world class hockey, football, tennis, gymnastic and ice-skating events, or join a university team to practice their favorite sports while studying abroad. The main Moscow campus building has been recently equipped with a new multi-purposes sports facility, complete with its own climbing wall! 6. Small class sizes: An average classroom size of 15-20 students for specialized areas of study, means that students have an opportunity to personally interact with course instructors, who are always ready to support students in the learning process!

STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM OFFERINGS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Short Academic Programs: Foreign students who would like to attend the Moscow University of Finance and Law for a short period of time (1 10 weeks) can chose to enrol in one of the following programs, which are offered each summer and can be arranged throughout the year, upon request from academic institutions interested in sending a group of their students to Russia: 1. Doing Business in Russia program (1 week) 2. Russian Language and Culture program (2 weeks) Cultural excursions and additional trips to St. Petersburg can be arranged at additional cost, at the request of students or university partners. Students who are interested in enrolling in full-time programs of study at the Moscow University of Finance and Law must first either demonstrate a knowledge of Russian language that is sufficient to complete required coursework (Intermediate level or above) by passing a university administered test. Students who would like to enrol in full time programs of study but lack the required Russian language skills can still be admitted into the university, provided that they first successfully complete the following course: Russian Language Preparatory Course (10 weeks) The course can be completed by attending an intensive training session from mid-june to end of August each year. Students who successfully complete the program can be accepted for regular university admission in September. All students who successfully complete short programs are awarded a Certificate of Course Completion, by the Moscow University of Finance and Law.

FULL-TIME PROGRAMS OF STUDY Students who are interested in studying at the Moscow University of Finance and Law for an academic semester or year abroad can chose to enrol in the following programs of study: Bachelor s Degree Programs: Accounting Applied Mathematics Customs and Logistics Finance Economics Information Technology Journalism Law Management Marketing Psychology Public Relations and Advertising Tax and Taxation The following Bachelors programs of study are also available to foreign students, through partnerships that the Moscow University of Finance and Law has in place with the International Institute of Humanities and Linguistics (MGLI) and the Moscow University of Public Administration (MUGU): Acting Linguistics Teaching Foreign Languages Public Administration Masters and PhD Degree Programs: Economics Finance Law Linguistics Management* (*can be combined with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program of study)

Short programs: Application Process: 1. Individuals or universities from countries whose citizens require visas to enter the Russian Federation should initiate the enrolment process by contacting the MFUA International Programs Department at least two months in advance of the program start date. 2. Participants who are citizens of countries that currently enjoy visa-free travel to Russia should register their request to attend the program at least 1 month in advance of the program start date. 3. Program fees must be paid prior to the issue of a visa invitation letter. The university can issue invoices for payment by bank transfer, to individuals or organizations who wish to participate in the programs. 4. Copies of all student passports should be provided to the MFUA International Programs Department as soon as payment has been sent, in order to expedite the visa application process. Full-time Study Abroad programs: 1. In order to enroll in BSc or Specialist programs at MFUA, foreign students must provide evidence of successful completion of secondary education in their home country. This requirement can be met by providing a document of foreign origin recognized by the Russian Federation, verifying completion of secondary education. 2. Foreign students wishing to enroll in Masters programs must have already successfully completed their first degree of higher education (Bachelors degree or equivalent). They must provide a document of foreign origin recognized by the Russian Federation, confirming successful completion of an undergraduate (Bachelor or Specialist) degree. 3. In order to apply to MFUA a foreign citizen should provide the following documents to the admissions department: Original (or copy) of passport with notarized translation (in case the passport does not have duplicate translation into Russian) Completed application form Original and copy of state-recognized diploma with supplements/ transcripts and their notarized translations (in case the duplicate translation into Russian is not provided) Confirmation of equivalence (if needed) Unified State Examination Certificate (or copy) only for foreign students who have completed high school in Russia. 6 photos, 3x4 size (black-and-white or color, relevant) Copy of Russian entry visa (in case the visa is required for entry to the Russian Federation). This can be provided to the admissions department after arriving in Russia. Copies of all documents are certified by the Admission Board representative by virtue of the originals. 4. The enrolment process is considered to be complete after all required documents listed above have been received by the admissions department, a contract has been signed by the student and the university, and tuition has been paid. 5. All academic programs at MFUA are delivered in Russian.

VISA REGULATIONS Students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldavia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan do not require visas to study in the Russian Federation. Students from most other foreign countries need to obtain a visa in order to study in Russia. Visa invitations can be arranged by MFUA International Office, after student s enrollment at MFUA. Please contact the MFUA International Office for more information, regarding visa documents and procedures. ARRIVING IN MOSCOW By airplane: There are three international airports in Moscow: Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo. Each airport has a comfortable high-speed train connection to the Moscow city center. Non-stop Aeroexpress trains depart from Domodedovo airport to Paveletskaya metro station, from Sheremetyevo airport to Belorusskaya metro station, from Vnukovo airport to Kievskaya metro station.
