Quick Lists and Macros for E.H.R. Charting Quick Lists A quick list is formulated so a provider can quickly chart using the procedure codes that are most frequently used, without having to choose from the entire ADA procedure code list. Helpful Hint Remember that quick lists can also be made for Findings so existing conditions, both hard and soft tissue can be charted efficiently!! Quick Lists can be customized for any provider level. For example, a hygiene quick list would consist of frequently used diagnostic, preventive and perio procedure codes and may not include any restorative, endodontic or surgical codes. A faculty provider s quick list may include procedure codes that may not yet be available to a dental student. In order to make a quick list, a User level and the corresponding EHR Display Option must exist in axium. Once this has been done, the process is a follows: From Maintenance: 1. Click on the Clinical tab 2. Double click on the Procedure Codes icon the Procedure Codes List window will open. 3. Click on the symbol - the Quick List Categories window will open. 1 Page

The application will calculate the proper information if the procedure code is grouped in the maintenance set up. When the User of that level logs into axium, chooses a patient, opens their E.H.R, and clicks on the Tx History tab and then the folder with the green plus sign to begin charting, the Chart Add tab will open to their Quick List. 4 Page

Type in a Description for this macro 5. Check the appropriate check boxes if needed 6. Click on the folder with the green plus sign to add the macro 7.
