Working width 12-42 m Technology for modern farming
Uncompromised Fertilising The brilliant combination of a state-of-the-art hydraulic drive and spreading technology with extremely accurate, fully automatic metering electronics gives way to sensational service dimensions for crop growing specialists looking to the future whilst keeping an eye on the costs. Technology Hand-in-Hand with Innovation The innovative, hydraulic AXERA spreader drive maintains a constant disc speed and, therefore, the working width, even when the tractor engine speed varies. The tractor speed can, as such, always be selected as fuel saving. 2 Hydraulic drive technology stands for increased precision at greater cost-effectiveness.
In fertilising technology the electronic metering control, EMC, is a pioneering system. It captures and regulates the spreading volume for the first time online on the left and right metering slide separately. This makes EMC another decisive factor towards greater economy and ecology in fertilising. All the functions of hydraulic drive technology and EMC metering electronics can be operated via remote control at the touch of a button both quickly and comfortably from the QUANTRON-P operating terminal. QUANTRON-P with serial interface RS 232 and the ISOBUS preparation is best suited to precision farming activities. QUANTRON-P 3
The Spread Pattern Optimiser The fine setting which is optimally matched to the disc speed and the feeding point enables precise spreading patterns, even for granulates which are sensitive to pressure and problematic spreader features in initial and late fertilising as well as during boundary, edge and wedge spreading. Modern crop production needs flexible solutions The characteristics of a safe AXERA spread pattern are wide, triangular spreading edges and therefore also wide overlapping zones. The harmonic interplay of the remote controlled feeding point and disc speed adjustment is incredibly flexible and enables an easy and quick response to different applications between 12 and 42 m working width with only one set of spreader discs. The desired speed is constantly monitored and regulated by sensors. Environmentally optimised boundary spreading 4 Edge spreading The AXERA-H EMC shows off its strengths during edge and boundary spreading. At the field boundary constant spreading volumes with steeply dropping spreading edges are decisive for the application of expensive fertiliser in accordance with needs and environmental protection.

Even on wedge-shaped tapering surfaces, the working width is adapted to the boundary outline by remote control in steps. Typically for RAUCH, all functions can be comfortably selected from the cab both for the right and left spreading side. Through the precise setting of the edge and boundary spreading characteristics, only via the speed and feed point adjustment, the use of additional deflectors and blade blocks is not required. It is precisely in the case of large working widths, or fertilisers which are sensitive to pressure, with problematic flying characteristics where considerably better spreading results are achieved in the field and along the field boundary. 5
EMC: Metering Electronics for Anyone Who Wants More The pioneering feature of the electronic metering control and regulation, EMC, for the hydraulically driven AXERA-H is the separate monitoring and regulation of the metering volume on both the right and left-hand side. The EMC system is based on the following brilliant discovery: The drive torque of the disc is proportional to the fertiliser flow volume on the dosing slide. EMC boasts a speed-dependent flow measurement and maintenance system for solids. A calibration test is not required since the control system calculates the correct flow factor after a few seconds, even in the event of unknown fertiliser characteristics, both for the right and left slide opening and sets the dosing slide separately accordingly. Even with the smallest deviations from the set flow volume a new slide position is automatically calculated and implemented. Changes to the pourability as a result of weather and fertiliser quality, amongst others, are automatically compensated. The oil pressure sensors on the hydraulic motors allow the driving torque of the spreader discs to be easily and safely determined during operation. Intelligent control electronics calibrate the complete system in regular, short intervals. Job computer with ISOBUS interface 26
In QUANTRON-P the oil pressure sensor data are evaluated online the optimal slide positions are calculated and controlled via electric actuators. QUANTRON-P metering electronics The hydraulic control block keeps the disc speed constant even when the oil supply fluctuates. AXERA-H EMC can be driven with constant current or load sensing tractor hydraulic systems. Oil engine with EMC sensor Optionally, AXERA, as ISOBUS variant can, alternatively to QUANTRON-P, also be controlled directly via a universal terminal on the plant. ISOBUS universal terminal 7

Decisive Factors for Successful Fertilising Maximum Flexibility in Practice The hydraulic drive enables outstanding spreading precision and remote controlled, exact boundary, edge or wedge spreading optionally on the right or left without having to alight or stop. High Profitability The engine speed of the tractor can be selected as cost-saving. All working widths between 12 and 42 m are performed precisely with only one pair of spreader discs. Increased Precision with EMC EMC means convincing metering precision without a calibration test through two automatic online control systems both on the right and left-hand side. This means that the metering volume on each slide opening is controlled separately and corrected if required. Ease and Comfort in Operation and a large, clear display is offered by QUANTRON-P. At the press of a button, all functions can be selected from the tractor's cabin for the hydraulic spreading system, the EMC metering electronics and the operating data documentation. The logical structure of the menu guide allows working securely, stress-free in hard practical applications. Boundary and edge spreading in accordance with European environmental standards Perfect, clean limited edge and boundary spreading patterns through the combined speed and feeding point adjustment. More percussive force through double spreader vanes High flow volumes, i.e. even in the case of large working widths high travelling speeds are possible, e.g. 440 kg /ha KAS, 36 m working width, travelling speed 15 km/h. Fertiliser-Friendly Agitators (20 rpm)) Guide even pressure-sensitive fertiliser granulates from the hopper into the double spreader vane up to the field with extra care. High quality bearings, seals and the stainless steel agitator shaft ensure operational safety without maintenance. The agitators switch off automatically in the foreland when the slides are closed. Reduced spreader vane wear Standard, high quality VxR coated double spreader vanes extend service life considerably. Easy and quick cleaning Good access to all components and generous amounts of space make light work of cleaning and maintenance tasks. Optimum corrosion protection The high-quality paint, based on two-pack epoxy resin, the high proportion of stainless steel used and the use of UV-stabilised plastics protect against rust and help retain value.
