Justification for the Proposal This course is related to Turkish Republic's history. Course Description (English) Provide a brief overview of what is covered during the semester. This information will appear in the printed catalogs and on the web online catalog. The course aims at explaining Lausanne Treaty, and the political, social, cultural and economic developments in the newly independent Republic of Turkey. In addition to these, the principles of Atatürk and his reforms and their impact on the Turkish transformation are studied. Bu derste Lozan Antlaşması, Cumhuriyet'in ilanı, siyasal, toplumsal, kültürel ve ekonomik alanlarda yapılan atılımlar işlenmektedir. Atatürk döneminin iç ve dış politikaları değerlendirilmektedir.
