Our Comenius project 2010-2012 The project "My culture-your culture-our culture" is meant to analyse the status of education, approaches in art and design, economic cooperation and environmental awareness of the participating countries Germany, Finland, Greece, Turkey and Scotland. In spite of possible difficulties due to the geographical distance, social or national differences, the international relationships are being improved via focusing on role model aspects resulting from comparisons with the other participating countries in a global context.
Different fields of the Comenius project The main focus of the project lies on the visual presentation of various "living spaces" in a touring exhibition (pictures reflecting culture), which will be presented in the participating countries. Different aspects of education (differences and permeability of school systems, the social status of the teaching profession in society, the compatibility of job and family) are compared. Economic cooperation and environmental awareness (international relationships on a global market, waste management) are first examined in local contexts and networks, then compared against an international background.
