Saint Joseph s College online program overview online.sjcme.edu Flexible. Affordable. Accredited. With over 35 years of experience, we are one of the oldest accredited distance education providers in the United States. When you contact us, our experienced team of admissions counselors will help you make choices based on your individual goals. They will assess your previous college credits, if any, and discuss the college s transfer credit policy and procedures to expedite your college degree aspiration. After your application is accepted, you can enroll immediately! Many of our programs offer monthly start dates, which means you do not need to wait for the next semester or wait for a specific number of other students to enroll in a course to begin. Most courses are self-paced so you determine the time and location of completing your coursework. Your classroom is whenever and wherever you have access to the Internet. You will be assigned a dedicated academic advisor who will provide sound guidance on course content, as well as mentor, coach, and even nudge when appropriate. He or she will be your personal advocate and will provide an important link to the faculty, administration, and other college resources. You are not alone. Every student has 4/7 access to our dynamic learning environment, as well as to our information technology helpdesk. As an online student, you can learn about and use various academic resources via the student orientation. As experts in their fields, your instructors are an excellent source of professional networking. Throughout the course, your instructor is only an e-mail away. One of the unique aspects of Saint Joseph s online programs is the one-on-one relationship you have with your instructors. Your advisor will assist you in selecting each course and an appropriate start date, allowing you to complete your program at a pace that is comfortable and realistic for your individual needs. Each advisor can also make decisions to adjust your schedule if the unexpected occurs. Life happens and the flexible schedule is meant to adjust to your needs! We encourage you to visit us in Maine at any time! We offer compressed on-campus courses in the summer and at other times of the year. Once you complete your program of study online, you can participate in the annual commencement ceremony at our beautiful 00-year-old College in Standish, Maine.
