1. MOSCHINO Flagship Store Project Overview Jeremy Scott, one of the most irreverent 21st century fashion designers, turn Moschino s Milan flagship store in a an contemporary art exhibition. Moschino s new flagship store is a 700 square meter space spread over two stories, and will bring together Moschino and Boutique Moschino collections. One floor will be dedicated to their Couture line but also featured is the brand s ready-to-wear, accessories, textiles, beach wear, jewelry and fragrances, as well as menswear and a Baby Kid & Teen selection. As per the art gallery-esque style, the dominant hue of the Moschino flagship is white. Oversized installations of Moschino products are strewn throughout. Shopping luxury fashion accessories as bags, are transformed into oversized shelving units that contain signature accessories while the fitting room itself is a giant white Moschino biker bag with a zipper opening for an entrance. The look draws similar cues from their New York store, which has the same oversized objects. This opening marks Scott s third sales point in the world fashion capital, joining the Moschino store which opened last year in Porta Nuova and the Love Moschino store on Corso Venezia. 2. FERUTDIN ZAKIROV STORE Project Overview Designed by Paolo Lucchetta, opens in Milan the first Italian flagship store of the Uzbek fashion designer, Ferutdin Zakirov. A place dedicated to menswear, that combines rituals of modernity, luxury and whispered compliments to the Italian tailoring tradition, refined details and multiple shades of elegance. The store, the second opened by Zakirov after the Moscow store, occupies 230 square meters, distributed on two levels, in a central Milan palazzo on the corner of Corso Matteotti and Via San Pietro Orto. The project was inspired by the designer s passion for the made in Italy and his love for a tailored approach that is rooted in the past. The right place for it involves the presence of large exhibition areas and more intimate environments dedicated to a ritual from the ancient taste, typical of tailoring workshops. The ground floor accommodates the novelties and accessories, while the lower level is home to the most sought after collections and the lounges dedicated to tailor made service. To connect these two worlds, a dramatic staircase illuminated steps, covered in marble Black Gold, which transposes the architectural plan the great attention the brand for materials. To give shape to this vision of style, the choice fell on noble parquet in a herringbone pattern, created by merging five different shades of walnut wood, and walls painted in Sophisticated Blue textured effect textile.
