The Incident At 18:00 hrs DC2,Q29,E-34,R 34,R-34, EMS2 E28,E-25 25 were dispatched to a Commercial Structure Fire at Southern Blvd and State Rd 7. Winds blowing out of the East at 15 mph 80 degrees F.
Upon Arrival of E34------ ------Size-Up 1 st arriving engine should, if applicable do a 360 to give a thorough arrival report.
Conditions Arrival Report Conditions--- ---E-34 arrival Side Charlie/Delta side of a Commercial structure Approximately 20,000 Sq Ft. Non- combustible construction type. We have heavy smoke coming from side D Delta.
Side D
Action E-34 will pass Command and start evacuating with a Par of Two through Side A/Alpha. E-34 Driver will catch a Secured Water Supply hydrant at Side D and hook up to a F/D connection on side C if needed to boost the sprinkler system.
Needs Fill the Alarm with a Commercial Response. Make sure PD is responding reference crowd control. Advise incoming units that there is a Water Supply and FDC on the C/D side of Structure.
Command DC2 arrives and establishes El-Dorada Command. Command post is at A/D corner. And advises dispatch were at level Two Accountability. Leaves side A open for Q-29Q And sets up Level two Staging in N/E corner of parking lot, out of the way.
R34 Arrives Tactic/Rescue---- ----Help E34 with evacuation.

More Resources IC should advise the Staging Officer to have at least two extra Engines two extra Rescues and Two BLS units always in staging. Should also call in Power Co, PD, and Fire Investigator
EMS2 Arrives Tactic/Safety Officer---- Does a 360 and reports back to Command.
Incident Objectives Making sure Evacuating is being done. Ventilating for life Extinguishment Exposures

Q-29 Arrives Arrives side A/Alpha and Awaits for Assignment. Tactics/Ventilation---- ----Opening up receiving doors on side D/Delta for Ventilation, for life then fire.
E-28 Arrival Tactic/Extinguish--- ---Blitz line, through side D/Delta. Big water,and use 3 supply line if needed for extra length.
Engine 21 Tactic/Exposure----- -----Side A/B catching a Hydrant on A/B side and using Deck Gun Mounted on Engine.

Progress Reports IC starts requesting progress reports between10-15 15 minutes.
E34 AND R34 progress report Advise Evacuation is done and all-clear is called. The units exited the building Side A calling APARS.
Q29 Progress Report After opening the receiving doors, visibility was very good, and E-28 E was able to get to the seat of the fire.q29 left side D with a Par of three. Reported to Rehab.
E28 Progress Report Advises they found the seat of the fire, there were some mattresses that were on fire, and that fire is under control and they were now looking for extension.
E21 Progress Report They advised that they caught the hydrant and was ready for Exposure if needed.
Staging Officer Was advised from Command to start releasing Units.
Safety Progress Report No new hazards, Incident was deescalating.
E28 Progress Report No extension of fire was found. Tic was used E28 exited structure from side D with a Par of Three. Report to Rehab
E21 Progress Report Was advised to breakdown. And report to Rehab.
Secondary Search Was done by Q29,all clear was called.
Salvage and Overhaul Was done with caution and was meticulous, due to the merchandise of building. Salvage covers were used for not only covering furniture, but for walkways and to channel water waste.
IC checks in with Rehab No injuries reported All involved went through Rehab Rehab was shutdown
Termination All equipment on units accounted. Command Staff had meeting. Then informal PIA was done. IC turned scene over to Fire Investigator. Command terminated All units went back in service.
