Private Cloud FAQ 1. Who owns my data? Answer although the data is stored in the cloud, the data is ultimately owned by the customer. Database backups can be sent daily to customer FTP sites or monthly via physical DVD. 2. Security who has access? Answer Data Resolution uses multiple levels of security to ensure access to client environment is safe and secure. It starts with Active Directory and Windows Authentication to create user rights. VPN tunnels to the customer site are setup to enhance security. An additional layer of security is provided by Cisco routers incorporating VLAN s. 3. Availability what are uptime policies? Answer Data Resolution has a published SLA (service level agreement) and is very focused on availability. Data Resolution provides failover protection across multiple data centers to ensure uptime and disaster recovery. Option 2 - Azure What is Azure? Microsoft hosted Infrastructure as a Service You provision virtual servers (Windows, SQL, etc) Flexible subscription models (usage based) GP can be installed on Azure Functions just like a regular on premise server Great for test environments What s different with Azure and Partner Hosted?
