Natural gas supplies are often restricted especially in the winter months when demand on the natural gas mains is at its maximum. The natural gas utilities have a finite supply of pipeline capacity and experience shortages during peak demand days. An LP-Gas standby system allows the end user to switch to a compatible propane/air mixture during natural gas curtailment. The connected plant can continue normal operations with an equivalent clean burning fuel. The plant manager can also gain significent savings in their year-long fuel costs by contracting with the utility for an interruptible natural gas rate. They are a combination of the Power XP Electric vaporizer and the Vaporaire Venturi Air/Gas mixer.
