M 75 FACU FIRE ALARM SYSTEM NOTES ALL DEVICES WILL BE MOUNTED ON JUNCTION BOXES IAW THEIR DATA SHEETS, MANUFACTURERS' RECOMMENDATIONS AND STANDARD INDUSTRY RACTICES, EXCET WHERE NOTED ON THIS DRAWING ALL NOTIFICATION DEVICES SHALL BE FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURER FROM THEIR CURRENT MODEL LINE WIRING NOTES: ALL FIRE ALARM WIRING CAN BE INSTALLED IN CONDUIT IAW NFA70 ALL EXOSED CONDUIT WILL BE AINTED TO MATCH THE ADJACENT SURFACE AND WILL HAVE 1" WIDE RED BANDS AT 10' INTERVALS OR NO LESS THAN 2 IN THE LINE OF SIGHT. FLEX CONDUIT MAY NOT BE USED BELOW THE CEILINGS OR WHERE VISIBLE FROM THE FLOOR ALL FIRE ALARM CONDUIT JUNCTION BOXES THAT DON'T HAVE DEVICE SHALL BE AINTED RED OR HAVE RED AINTED COVERS ALL SIGNAL LINE CIRCUITS WILL BE CLASS B IAW NFA 72 ALL NOTIFICATION CIRCUITS WILL BE CLASS B IAW NFA 72 ALL FIRE ALARM CIRCUITS WILL BE CONTINUOUS FROM THE ANEL TO THE LAST DEVICE AND/OR THE EOL SUERVISORY DEVICE THE JUNCTION BOX OR THE DEVICE THAT CONTAINS THE EOL DEVICE SHALL BE LABELED "EOL" AN ADDRESSABLE SYSTEM MUST BE UTILIZED AND THE DEVICE ADDRESS MUST HE INDICATED ON A LABEL ON THE DEVICE OR JUNCTION BOX THE CIRCUITS MUST BREAK ONLY AT DEVICES WITH SCREW TERMINALS NO SLICE BOXES OR WIRE-NUTS MAY BE USED ALL FIRE ALARM CIRCUITS WILL BE COLOR CODED AND THE COLORS MUST NOT CHANGE WITHIN THE CIRCUIT. CONDUIT OR EMT INSTALLED UNDER THIS CONTRACT SHOULD ALSO INCLUDE ULL STRING FOR FUTURE USE. CONDUIT INSTALLED UNDER THIS CONTRACT SHALL SIZED TO NOT EXCEED THE FILL RATIOS RESCRIBED IN NFA 70. THE FIRE ALARM CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESONSIBLE FOR THE COORDINATED DESIGN, COORDINATION OF INSTALLATION OF THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM TO INSURE A COMLETE OERATING SYSTEM IN ALL RESECTS. IT IS NOT THE INTENT OF THESE LANS AND SECIFICATIONS TO ROVIDE A COMLETE DETAILED ALL FIRE ALARM ANELS, A/V DEVICES AND WIRING TO THE THE ALARM SYSTEM SHALL BE BY THE FIRE DESCRITION OF THE AARATUS, MATERIALS, EQUIMENT, ETC.
