Chrome, Safari, and Firefox are not supported, but will work with most features. In the Welcome to Brown Shoe Customer Portal screen that appears, type your User ID and Password. Retail Customer function tabs The functions and appearance of the website are controlled by which tab is active. The active tab description appears in bold. In the picture above, the Brown Shoe Retail Shop tab is active. a. Brown Shoe Retail Shop Product Searches, orders/invoices, start a Shopping Basket. b. On Order Report - Download a list of your orders to check status, products, etc. c. UPC Download ALL Download Brown Shoe s UPC catalogs. 2. Navigation Screen links Choosing one of these links will display additional selection options in the area below the links. a. My Orders/Invoices Search for sales orders and invoices. b. Catalog Find products via Quick Search or by drilling into Products by Brand Family. 3. Products Search Options Quick Search finds products using key word or number searches and provides the ability to include or exclude casepacks from the results. Products search allows the user to drill into a Brand Family to find products. 4. Shopping Basket link Click the Shopping Basket link at the top of your page to display the products in your Shopping Basket or to start a new one. 5. Help links Click on these links to do the following: a. Help Update password and change user settings b. Customer Service Contact information for Brown Shoe s Customer Service Team c. Product Search Product Search Quick Search Search for products by typing a word or two into the entry field and clicking the Search button. If you know part of a product number, type that followed by an asterisk (*) to be sure your search results provide all of the available colors. Quick Search allows for you to search on numbers and/or key words (e.g. product name and color) to narrow the results Wildcard searches are made by placing an asterisk (*) before and/or after the letters or numbers you are searching Exact product number searches display the size grid availability or casepack availability To begin, click the Brown Shoe Retail Shop link at the top of your page. By default, Casepacks are excluded. To see available Casepacks, uncheck the box. Click Search button. Enter key words or numbers, or search using part of a name or number by placing an * at the end of the entry. Product Search Products - Search by Brand Family Hierarchy Use this search technique to drill into the Brand Family Hierarchy to find products. 1. Click the Brown Shoe Retail Shop link at the top of your page. 2. Be sure to uncheck the Exclude Casepacks box if you would like to see casepacks included in your search results. 3. Locate the Products section on the left side of the page. 4. Beginning with the Brand Family, click on the plus sign adjacent to the level you want to expand. (Brand Family > Brand > Season > Product Group > Product). 5. Once the hierarchy is expanded to the Product level, click on a Product Name (Tatiana in this example) to display a list options in the Product Area to the right. 6. Displayed products may be added to the Shopping Basket in the same manner as items found using Quick Search. 7. Close expanded levels by clicking the adjacent minus sign. Product Search Loose Pair Product Availability The grid displays size, width and product status. In stock: Shows the quantity Brown Shoe has available to sell. To order this size/width, enter the desired quantity in the white box below the number available. Your order quantity should not exceed the available quantity. Future availability: Shows the anticipated date of arrival into our warehouse(s). To order this size/width, enter the desired quantity in the white box below the date. Please allow sufficient time for shipping and handling to your location when placing orders for products with future availability. Not available: Hover over a blank, dark gray box and a warning will alert you that the product is not available. This product size/width cannot be ordered. Not made: Hover over a blank, light gray field and a warning will alert you that the product is not made. This product size/width cannot be ordered. Click Add to Shopping Basket button to add the products to your Shopping Basket. Create a Sales Order Create a Sales Order Terms and Concepts Shopping Basket: A holder for selected products and related information (e.g. ship dates, address, etc.) before it is converted into a Sales Order or cancelled. Sales Order: A Shopping Basket that has been reviewed, approved and submitted becomes a Sales Order. The Sales Order tells Brown Shoe which products you want and where you want them shipped. Step 1 Search for Products and Check Availability Use the Quick Search or Product Hierarchy Search techniques described on the preceding pages. The search will clearly show the products status. The wholesale base price is listed in the catalog. Special pricing will not be applied until you view your Shopping Basket or Sales Order. Step 2 Add Items to the Shopping Basket Once the desired product size(s) and/or casepack(s) have been entered as described in the preceding sections, add the item(s) to your Shopping Basket by clicking the Add to Shopping Basket button. The screen will refresh to display the product(s) in your Shopping Basket. Pay attention to the availability dates for products you are adding to your order. It is best to place separate orders for in stock product and for future availability product orders. If you do place separate orders for in stock and future availability products, be sure to adjust the order Requested Delivery Date and Cancel Date to allow for the arrival of the future-most product. www.brownshoeonline.com Customer Guide Page 11 of 16

Create a Sales Order 3 4 25 6 Step 3 Complete the Sales Order Header PO Number: Deliver To: An alphanumeric identification of the transaction for your business. If your business does not use POs, a unique PO number will be automatically assigned to the order. If you have multiple locations, use the dropdown to select the location to which you want the product(s) shipped. Requested Delivery Date: The date you would like the products to be delivered. This field defaults to the current date. Cancel Date: The latest date you would like your products to be delivered. Step 4 Continue Shopping Click the Continue Shopping button to return to your previous search. Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 until you have placed all of the desired products in your Shopping Basket. Step 5 Review the Shopping Basket Click the Edit Sizes link to review your size/width selection of the products on that line. Remove a product line item from the Shopping Basket by checking the Trash Bin box and clicking the Update button. www.brownshoeonline.com Customer Guide Page 12 of 16

Create a Sales Order 5 Advanced Functionality 6 Step 5 Continued This warning will appear if you enter a product directly into the Shopping Basket using the Product field and have not yet selected quantities by size/width. To specifiy sizes/widths for products directly entered into the Shopping Basket, click the Edit Sizes link and complete the size/width selection in the grid. (This warning should NOT appear if you have searched for the product, completed the order quantity and then added it to the Shopping Basket.) Advanced Functionality: Use the button to access line item options including: Deliver To: select delivery options preset for your account. View ship-to party address button. Enter a NEW ship-to party address button - Use this feature to ship a product directly to a customer. Enter the recipient s name, address and telephone in the entry screen. When complete, click the browser Back button. Copy this item to multiple ship-to parties button - This feature benefits retailers with multiple locations by allowing them to send the same product size/width distribution to the each of the locations they select in the pop-up window. Click the OK button to return to the order. Step 6 Proceed to Checkout If you do NOT want to place the Sales Order, click the Cancel button and confirm the warning message to clear the Shopping Basket. Click the Proceed to Checkout button to display your Shopping Basket as a Sales Order for review. If you are still not satisfied with your order, use the Continue Shopping or Edit Order buttons to make additional changes. When you are satisfied with your Sales Order, click the Submit Order button and click the OK button to confirm that you do want to place the order. The screen will refresh with a summary of your Sales Order which can be printed by clicking the Print Preview button and then the Print button. www.brownshoeonline.com Customer Guide Page 13 of 16

My Orders/Invoices My Orders/Invoices From the Brown Shoe Retail Shop tab, use the My Orders/Invoices link to look up orders and invoices by date, product, PO Number, etc. When searching, the more specific you are with the search criteria, the narrower the results will be. 1. Click the Brown Shoe Retail Shop link at the top of your page. 2 3 4 2. Click the My Orders/Invoices link. 3. Narrow your search results by selecting options from the dropdowns or by entering a single PO Number. a. Click the Search For drop-down box to select Orders or Invoices. b. Click the Status drop-down box to select Open, Any, or Completed. c. Click the Creation Date drop-down box to select from Today, Since Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 12 Months or User Definded Categories: Specific Date or In Period Additional fields will appear for the entry of specific date(s) d. The Search By drop-down box is used in conjunction with the PO Number box. Use the Search By drop-down box to select Order Number, Your PO Number, Product ID. This selection will change the corresponding entry field label to your selection and search that category for data you enter. 4. Click the Go button to perform the search. 5. Locate the desired document from the list that appears (use the scroll bar as needed). Click the corresponding hyperlink (blue underlined text) to display the document. 6. On Order Report On Order Report Use the On Order Report tab at the top of the page to look up Sales Orders, Contracts and Invoices by creation date, product, PO Number, etc. When searching, the more specific you are with the search criteria, the narrower the results will be. The On Order Report provides helpful, at-a-glance information including Delivery Status, Credit Status, Overall Blocked Status, Order Quantity, Confirmed Quantity, and Price. 1. Click the On Order Report link at the top of your page to access the search criteria. 2 3 2. Narrow the focus of your On Order Report by entering criteria for your search. For example: a. Enter a single Order Number or a range of orders. This refers to the PO Number that your business provided when placing the order, or if not provided, that was system generated for your order. b. The Search for Data buttons allow you to choose options from a list, or calendar. c. Click the Include Sizes check box if you would like that level of detail in your report. 3. Click the SEARCH button to display the results in the grid below. 4. Advanced On Order Report functionality: a. Use Excel to view and work with the results of your search, click Export and then click Export to Microsoft Excel. b. Use the Sort button on the column headers to customize your view of the report. c. Use the Filter and Settings options to remove unneeded columns, etc. from your report. d. Download UPCs for a specific Sales Order by clicking on the row to highlight it and then clicking the desired Download Format button. www.brownshoeonline.com Customer Guide Page 15 of 16
