The Port of Livorno Livorno is a multipurpose port. The port of Livorno is part of the North Tyrrhenian Multiport System ( Ligurian Range ) and is the main component of the Tuscan Port Authorities cluster TPA The TPA members are the ports of: Livorno, Carrara and Piombino (about 45 million tons) The pivot role of Livorno is justified by: a favorable geographic location, large infrastructure availability, specialised seaport and inland terminalisation, an effective logistics and transport chain organisation.
