ZOOM MEETING GUIDE ZOOM is what we refer to as sacred technology that we use with many of Christine s programs and virtual events, as a way for you to feel more connected to Christine and those you are in circle with, as well as having a more interactive and visual experience. While we are so grateful for this technology, we know that learning something new can come with challenges or uncertainty, so we created this special ZOOM GUIDE to help you easily navigate ZOOM, and enjoy the process. So remember to breathe, and know this technology is fairly simple to learn. You ve got this! And should you find yourself needing some extra support, we are happy to answer any questions that may come up. You can always email love@arylo.com and we are happy to assist you. ZOOM Access Details: One of the many great things about ZOOM is that you can join via your computer to be with us on video. However, you can also dial-in using your phone if needed.
Know that those who join via video will receive a more interactive experience, as you'll feel more connected when you can see and chat with everyone, so video is the most preferred option if possible. You can join ZOOM via your smart phone, such as an iphone or Android or hand-held device, such as an ipad, so there are many ways to join via video, even if you don t have access to a computer. >>Your ZOOM access details are below, and these details will remain the same for the entire year. So we suggest that you add the ZOOM link and dial-in info to your calendar right now. Join ZOOM from PC, Mac, Linux, ios or Android: https://zoom.us/j/457967642 2. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362993-gettingstarted-with-ios If you want to join via your Android Device, you'll need to download the app using the tutorial here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/200942759-gettingstarted-with-android Instructions to Connect to our ZOOM Room: Just 3 Easy Steps! #1. Upon clicking the video link, your PC or Mac will automatically download "zoom launcher" to your computer and then ask your permission to run the software. #2. Once you allow your computer to run the software, it should take less than a minute, and then you'll be asked to enter your name. PLEASE enter your name, so we can easily know who you are :-) #3. Keep in mind that the ZOOM Room will not be accessible until the host (Christine or a member of our team) arrives. If you try to join before the Host arrives, that's just fine. Your computer will show a little pop-up box informing you that ZOOM is waiting for the host to arrive, and all you need to do is wait. Once Christine arrives, then you ll be prompted to enter your name, and you'll be instantly taken into the ZOOM Room. Once you are inside the ZOOM Room, you're all set. Your video should default to being on, but sometimes your web browser will ask you to enable your video or give permission to use your webcam, so keep an eye out for that on the top of your browser window, in case you need to allow permission. Everyone will have controls at the bottom of the screen. The primary controls that you will use most often are your
microphone, your video camera, raising your hand, and the chat box. Go here to access the online controls guide: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/200941109-what-are-the-attendee-controls- Also, know that in order to ensure that there is not static or echo during the call, we will be muting everyone unless we are inviting you to speak. So please be aware of that and mute yourself as well. Everyone can hear much more clearly when there is no background noise or disturbance. We also suggest you have a headset to drown out any background noise when you are speaking. The Chat Box: Finally, sometimes we invite each person to share individually during the call. If you notice that your connection is causing noise or disturbance when you are unmuted, then please stay on mute. You can type your response into the chat box instead. The chat box is available for you to share any aha s or inspiration that you d like with the group, as well as to share your responses if you are unable to speak via your microphone. Should You Have Technical Difficulties: Should you run into any technical difficulty, here's what to do: First try re-booting your computer. Also make sure you do not have multiple browser windows open. You should just have your ZOOM screen up and nothing else.
Make sure your computer speakers are turned ON, so that you can hear us and we can hear you. Make sure you have a strong internet connection. The speed of your internet will certainly impact your ability to join ZOOM via video. So it s best to be in a place with a strong internet signal. Remember that if you cannot access the call via video, simply dial-in via phone instead. That's all there is to it. We want to assure you it's going to work out fine, and we are here to help you. We strongly suggest that if you think you might need some extra support, to join the call 10 minutes early, so that we can help you if needed. And remember, every session will be recorded, so you'll still be able to tune in and receive this experience. We appreciate you riding the wave of technology with us, and we re so grateful to be able to connect with you through this super powered technology. Questions? Email love@arylo.com
