Sand Control Screen Utilizg Bridgg Aperture Technology The Bridgg Apertured Screen is comprised of a perforated concentric base pipe with layers of filter jacket material encased a side-punched apertures screen shroud, all attached to the base pipe with a supportg rg. The base pipe has a predetermed number of perforated holes. The outer shroud with grooved or arc bridges is one unit connected through the supportg rg to the concentric base pipe. The rg is attached to the base pipe with socket head cap screws, and the assembly is then welded to the base pipe to help prevent corrosion and potential shearg off at the weldg pot. The BAS is an excellent choice for those well environments with high concentrations of H2S, CO2 and CL. If 13Cr or other high alloy content base pipe is utilised, the system of both set screw and surface weldg ensures a higher strength at the weldg pot between base pipe and filter screen media.
