Welcome to UCLA s University Apartments! UCLA offers five complexes designed especially for graduate students and students with families. Whether you are a single graduate student, a married student (with or without children), a single parent, or a student with a same-sex domestic partner, UCLA offers you several options for comfortable, convenient, and affordable housing. Four of these complexes are located in the Palms/Mar Vista area, just five miles from campus. University Village FOR MARRIED STUDENTS & STUDENTS WITH FAMILIES University Village is a modern, recently constructed complex designed specifically for married students and same-sex domestic partners (with or without children), and single parents. It features air-conditioned unfurnished one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with laundry facilities, parking, and a gated entrance. Kitchens are equipped with appliances, and residents enjoy basic cable T.V. and natural gas service at no extra charge. High-speed Internet and landline telephone connections are available through a local provider.

Child Care Options As part of its commitment to providing quality child care, UCLA has established a preschool child care facility at University Village. It provides services for nearly 200 children through two programs UCLA Child Care and University Parents Nursery School all under one roof. Due to limited space, parents with preschool age children are urged to call the child care program they are interested in prior to their arrival at UCLA. Weyburn Terrace is within walking distance to the main campus, Westwood Village, and major bus transportation. Weyburn Terrace FOR SINGLE GRADUATE STUDENTS Weyburn Terrace offers unfurnished studio apartments, two-bedroom/two-bath apartments, and twobedroom/two-bath town homes exclusively for single graduate students (without children). All units feature central heat and air-conditioning, come with appliances, and include basic cable T.V., high-speed Internet access, and utilities (gas, electricity, and water) at no extra charge. Complimentary shuttle service runs between the campus and Weyburn Terrace weekdays during the academic year.

Exploring Campus and Nearby L.A. Once you re settled into your new apartment and your academic routine, take time to explore all that the campus and Los Angeles has to offer. On campus you ll find libraries, museums, cultural venues, and athletic events. Nearby Westwood Village offers you great restaurants, shopping, and movie theaters. And Los Angeles boasts countless opportunities for almost anything that interests you from sporting events, museums, and unique shopping areas to beach front strolling, nightclubs, and amusement parks. Venice/Barry apartments are equipped with heat and air-conditioning, gas fireplaces, an exercise room and sauna, underground parking, garden-style courtyards, high-speed internet and basic cable T.V. service, and a swimming pool. Complimentary shuttle service is available weekdays during the academic year to and from campus. Keystone/Mentone units offer heat and air-conditioning, gas fireplaces, high-speed internet and basic cable service, garden-style courtyards, a playground, and underground parking. FOR SINGLE GRADUATE STUDENTS AND MARRIED STUDENTS (without children) Clarington apartments are new, furnished one-bedroom, loft-style units. They feature central heat and air-conditioning, designer kitchens, stacked washer and dryer, high-speed internet and basic cable service, and gated parking. (No units are available in Clarington to accommodate children.)

The other four University Apartment complexes are conveniently located about five miles south of the campus (in the Palms/Mar Vista area), and about five miles east of the beaches of Santa Monica and Venice, and only seven miles north of the Los Angeles International Airport. All have easy access to both the 405 and 10 freeways. TO 405 FREEWAY TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS Weekdays during the academic year, roundtrip UCLA shuttle service is available between the campus and Venice/Barry, Keystone/Mentone, and Weyburn Terrace apartments. This service is complimentary and runs from early morning through the evening hours.
